[ALOCHONA] When East Pakistan Became Bangladesh

I had heard rumors in Washington that actually it was Nixon, who had wanted to create equality between East and West Pakistan by secretly supporting Awami League to win a majority but he had no idea that West Pakistanis would even risk loss of East Pakistan instead of handing-over the Helm of Pakistan.

To the best of my understanding, later on Banga BonDho Sh. Mujib was assassinated in a hurry on the orders of CIA because he was about to declare the Country a Communist State. CIA was famous for doing this kind of stuff in all 3rd World Countries in those days.

This CIA Policy was banned by Pres. Jimmy Carter in 1976 and a law was passed that no Political Assassinations of any heads of states would be committed by CIA and there would be no secret US Interventions but then Pres. Reagan violated the Secret Intervention Law in case of Nicaraugua. Only lower officials and one of his Cabinet Member went to jail in that case.

A law was also passed that no President can commit US Armed Forces in any conflict without permission of National Assembly (Congress) for more than 3 months so, before Freedom War for Kuwait, Invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq arms were twisted and lies were spread to get Congressional Approval of Kuwait War and Iraq Invasion.

US Congress still can end any US Army Involvement abroad by refusing to approve the Expenses of War but it hasn't so far for Iraq War though, majority of Americans are against that war. Too much politics still.
