We were impressed at Begum Zia's tele conversation with Sheikh Hasina during which she rebutted to Hasina's charge of cutting cake on August 15, by saying: "Shouldn't those born on August 15 celebrate their birthdays?"


Begum Zia seems to have deviated from her stand now. For what? Under whose pressure? She should now wait for the next demand from Hasina: "Don't object to removing Zia's Mazar from Dhaka." Begum Zia will keep accepting the demands but never reach anywhere under Hasina.
