If there were such a thing called respecting religious sentiments, cow slaughtering publicly would have been banned in Bangladesh. Of course, Hasina's idea of respecting religious sentiment is nothing better than trying to please the idiots and barbarians among the Muslims. Aside from respecting the Hindu silliness of treating cow as a demigod, slaughtering any kind of animals publicly is barbaric. (If Muslim religious stupidity is to be respected, all other kinds of religious stupidity should be respected too, even when rational people like me do not respect any kind of stupidity.)
Talking about "must for believe (sic)", most of the Muslims of the world need to get to the next phase of human development, where the idea of "must for belief" would be replaced with common human sense.
