Re: [mukto-mona] Re: An amicable discussion between an atheist and a moderate Muslim

It is a great discussion indeed! While I agree that some 1.6 billion Muslims are not going to apostatize overnight, the peaceful equilibrium end result has to be that, however long that might take. For now, more humans who have grown up thinking that they are Muslims need to start thinking like that they are humans, that they were not born with a stamp of Islam on them, that it is not their duty to defend Islam/Mohammad, and that they are not to accept any kind of injustice, hatred, barbarity, etc. because Allah/Mohammad said so in the Koran/Hadits.

Yes, it is an intelligent and civil discussion. Only good and secular education would cure Muslims from this age old curse of an absolute belief. How long can Muslims stay away from science and our human evolutionary history? And, how can they prosper as a community with such ignorance and idiocy?

Yes, the left is not totally fault free. Left does not really care about Muslims as long as they have Muslims as their foot soldiers. It has been playing a very dangerous and dirty game with the Muslims to keep the community laggard and poor for its narrow selfish agenda to fight a bigger devil, the right.

Chomsky gang has really lost its moral compass. Their defense of Islamist' violence is truly absurd and offensive.
