Re: [mukto-mona] First Muslim woman in hijab to read the news in Canadian !!!!!

Ginella Massa is definitely not of Bangladeshi Origin. She is of Panamanian origin and speaks Spanish at home.

She is not a BACKBENCHERwho  "got the job through the cultural diversity program in Canada".

She is hardworking and definitely has the background that formed the basis of her anchor-ship job.

Please see her resume at:

"The whole thing is pretty odd" ..... True, and that's what made it a "news" !!!!

"her vision is too narrow "  ....... Can you elaborate ?

BTW, as far as I know, she is not a contender for Emmy Awards --- not even close (aLeast for now ) !!!

Looks like Bangladeshi origin. Unfortunately, she is much more interested in promoting her Muslim identity than
her talent or achievement. Now, I am not sure, if she got the job due to her talent or through the cultural diversity
program in Canada.  The whole thing is pretty odd; her vision is too narrow.
