মূর্খদের কম কথা বলা উচিত। ভারতে মুসলমানদের যে অধিকার বাংলাদেশে সেটা পেলে তো আমরা খুশি। কারণে ভারতে মুসলমানদের অধিকার আমেরিকায় মুসলমানদের অধকারের সম-পর্যায়ের। পৃথিবীর সকল অ-মুসলিম দেশে মুসলমানরা যে অধিকার ভোগ করছে, বাংলাদেশে আমরা সেই অধিকারটুকু চাই। কোন মুসলিম দেশে কি অ-মুসলিমদের অধিকার আছে? জালালউদ্দীন মূর্খভাই, পৃথিবীতে একটি মুসলিম রাষ্ট্র দেখান যেখানে অ-মুসলিমরা বাড়ছে, বা সমান-অধিকার নিয়ে ভালো আছে, যদি না পারেন, তবে লজ্জিত হন, এবং চুপ থাকেন। জানি চুপ থাকবেন না, অন্যের ওপরে দোষ দিয়ে নিজের মূর্খতা ঢাকবেন! সত্য হচ্ছে, মুসলিম দেশে অ-মুসলিম কেন ভাল মুসলমানদেরই অধিকার নেই? মুসলিম দেশগুলো আসলে জঙ্গল, যার জন্যে আপনারা ইহুদী-নাসারাদের দেশে থেকে দিনে পাঁচবার ওদের ধ্বংস কামনা করেন। তবে শকুনের দোয়ায় গরু মরেনা, এই যা, বরং শকুন বিলুপ্ত হয়ে যায়?

দেশের গণতন্ত্রর বিরুদ্ধেও সেমিনারে মন্তব্য করেছেন জেএনইউ'র অধ্যাপক৷ ভারত যদি গণতান্ত্রিক দেশই হয়, তাহলে সমালোচনা করার জন্য হাজতবাস কেন করতে হয়? সেমিনারে সেনাবাহিনীর ভূমিকা নিয়েও প্রশ্ন তোলেন মেনন, তিনি বলেন ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনী দেশের জন্য নয়, নিজেদের বাঁচার রসদ জোগাতেই কাজ করে৷ মেননের বক্তব্যের পরই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় চত্বরে বিক্ষোভ দেখান এবিভিপি সমর্থকরা৷

JNU Professor Nivedita Menon Under Fire After She Says Kashmir Is Illegally Occupied By India
The video, allegedly dated February 22, shows Menon telling students at the university campus:
"We know that the whole world believed that India is illegally occupying Kashmir. The maps in foreign publications like Time and Newsweek show a different map of Kahsmir. However these maps are censored and destroyed by by Indian authorities."
Students can be seen applauding the statement with claps.
