It was Bhutto who killed democracy by not turning over the duly elected Mujib to form the government. Blaming KGB or RAW is fanciful stuff, isn't it?

 

If Bhutto had respected the law of the land and democracy, Mujib would have been the PM of combined Pakistan and the "darad" or the wedging factor would not have been there.  Bhutto was one of the few who messed up Pakistan.

This is my freedom!!!   I cannot carry little money alone, because miscreants might abduct or kill me only for that little money. I cannot walk or drive safely on any road, because any careless driver without license might hit or kill me on the spot. I cannot let my daughter go for education singly, because she might be subject to eve teasing. This is my freedom!!!   I cannot buy minimum food staff with my limited salary due to continuous market price hike. I cannot buy medicine for my sick relatives or children from my earning as I also got to pay bribe for the education of my child. This is my freedom!!!   I cannot talk about truth because my bosses and so called politicians would treat me threatened. I cannot talk about honesty because of too many dishonest people around and the dishonest environment. This is my freedom!!!   I cannot open my books or news papers due to unclear history of the past and present happenings, I cannot open my TV or Radio because of only "Talk Shows" even by not competent to speak on the topic. This is my freedom!!!   However, I have heroic bloods of sacrifice, though backdated of 1971, and a map named Bangladesh, However, I have a flag, red and green, which I host on important dates, named as Bangladeshi flag, However, I have a positive dream named "survival for the fittest and prosperous Bangladesh", preserved within me. The MPs of AL and BNP are terrified of debating people like Asif Nazrul and Andaleeb Partho.

That's why Manik's people, who are just like Manik, recently attacked Nazrul's office and are trying to slow him down with a lawsuit.  

Manik, and all the other blind supporters of any political party, would not last 2 minutes in a debate with Asif.

This picture is an illustrated example of how Bongu partisan intellectuals really think. There's no substantial difference between Manik and, say, Farida.

If Asif Nazrul got aroused by the sight of Hasina wearing lipstick, like Manik does, then Manik would not have objected to the picture.

And if the ladies were cross eyed with hate like Motia, fat with inertia like Sajeda, foul mouthed like Hasina and thick as a bat like Sahara, Manik would not complain.

Rather he would be full of admiration. You see Manik is a good example of the malaise that has stricken the Bangladeshi male.

Nothing excites him like running behind women going 'Apa! Apa! Apa! Apa! Apa! Apa! Apa!'

And so what if Asif was having a glass of wine? Manik thinks that's wrong? So Manik agrees with Jamaat on something?

Manik would love to sit on Joy's lap.

You nicely promote the concept that all great truths start as blasphemies. And yet you would like to dictate what is a blasphemy and what is not. I know intellectuals who believe Satanic Verses should be published, even if it were 10 times more challenging to the sensibilities of many. And yet these same intellectuals want Humayun to be censored. Are you one of these Bongu hypocrites posing as intellectuals?

Humayun should be a free man in a free country to write freely. If he is wrong then you are free to write against his book. But it is ridiculous for the Attorney General to take it upon himself to censor the books of writers. This Attorney General is chamcha and behaiya. Do you disagree? Are you aligning yourself with him?

Politics should has ruined every aspect of our national life. That is why every polititical committee has a 'cultural secretary'. It is a disgrace. Our culture is explouited for political purposes.

Humayun Ahmed should be free to write whatever he wants without the intervention of the state. And you should be free to write against him in disagreement.

But I should not complain too much. Humayun Ahmed can now bash the government and AL in a dozen different ways. 

The Attorney General is a politcial pimp who is himself politically pimped. Load of rubbish.

You can tell a lot about people when they side with this particular Attorney General.
