I hope you understand what it means. If anyone (no matter where s/he live or ethnicity/nationality) insults/ridicules Islam and the Prophet (pbuh), a person who cares least (like me who is a non-political person) about BD (because it's already a DEAD COUNTRY) will protest against it in the strongest possible terms. We'll unfold the faces of these culprits and ask the authority for severe punishment for such provocative behavior. There are many intellectual discussion/opposition against Islam/Muslim and that is fine. Go ahead and do that as much as you wish. BUT PLEASE DO NOT INSULT our faith and our Prophet (pbuh). I want to clarify one thing. I've been writing about current govt's failures and because of that I heard some are branding me as 'pro BNP'. Actually only blind AL supporters would think that way, as they don't like to hear about the govt's failures. To them, AL is above the interest of Bangladesh. When BNP was in power, I was very vocal against some BNP activities. Whoever knows me well are aware of this. Of course, at that time, I was not part of google group. I try my best to see the interests of Bangladesh ahead of AL, BNP petty politics. People of Bangladesh are much more important than politicians' empty rhetorics, loud but fruitless speeches. Around 70 millions people are suffering from malnutrition. Few AL supporters plunder thirty two lacks small investors all of assets, they and their families are living under enormous financial problem. Many of the small investor commits suicide. Now body talk about the justice for them, if they come out to the street for peaceful demand, they receive harsh, brutal treatment from our police. We have to think humanly, we should not be prejudice or emotional to deal with any burning issues in Bangladesh . With deep sorrow I like to mention here that around thirty people, young and old killed in varies part of the Bangladesh . If police were careful, we could have save lot of life. Bangladesh police has lot of machinery to scattered the unruly crowd. They can use tear gas, water canon, rubber bullet and baton charge to disperse the crowd. The blood of Bangladeshi has no value to ruling AL . ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ আমার প্রতি কেন শুধু শুধু এত আক্রোশ? বঙ্গবীর কাদের সিদ্দিকী বীর উত্তম ![]() সেই কবে কোনকালে কবি বলেছিলেন, 'আমার মাথা নত করে দাও হে তোমার চরণ ধুলার তলে'। পরম প্রভু দয়ালু আল্লাহর কুদরতি চরণে মাথা ঠুকেই জীবন অতিবাহিত করেছি। চলার পথে কত যে অজস্র ভুল করেছি তা শুধু পাক পরোয়ারদিগারই জানেন। কিন্তু স্রষ্টার প্রতি কখনও মনে কোনো দ্বিধা জাগেনি। রাসুলে করিম (সা.)-এর পাক-পবিত্রতা সম্পর্কে মনে কোনো চিড় ধরেনি। কিন্তু দয়ালু আল্লাহ ও তার রাসুলকে নিয়ে ব্লগারদের কায়কারবার দেখে বুকে বড় যন্ত্রণা পাচ্ছি। বঙ্গবন্ধুর পাগল সেজে জীবন কাটিয়ে দিলাম। তা যদি নাটক হতো, অভিনয় হতো সান্ত্বনা ছিল। কিন্তু কেন যে বাস্তবেই উন্মাদ পাগল হলাম, যখন ভাববার সময় পাই তখন কোনো কূলকিনারা পাই না। ছেলেবেলায় জীবন শুরু হয়েছিল প্রতিকূল পরিবেশে। মা আদর করতেন, বুকে চেপে রাখতেন, মা-ই ছায়া দিতেন কিন্তু। আর সবাই প্রতি মুহূর্তে ত্রিশুল হাতে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতেন, সুযোগ পেলেই যেন বধ করবেন। ছোট ছোট ভাইবোনরা ছিল ছায়া, কী যে ভালোবাসত তারা। ওদের আর মা'কে নিয়ে ছিল আমার ভুবন। তাই কোনো নির্যাতন আর জ্বালাকে জ্বালা মনে হতো না। ছেলেবেলার বাড়ির বৈরী পরিবেশ পরে আমার জন্য মঙ্গলজনকই হয়েছে। চামড়া মোটা হওয়ায় আজ অনেক কিছু সহ্য করতে কষ্ট হয় না। প্রায় কত বছর কোনো দলে গণতন্ত্র নেই, কেমন যেন জমিদারি স্টাইল। কারও জমিদারির প্রজা হতে চাইনি বলে কত গালাগাল, কত নিন্দা। একপর্যায়ে মনে হয়েছে হাজার বছর আওয়ামী লীগ করলেও কেউ আওয়ামী লীগের সভাপতি হতে পারবে না—ওটা জননেত্রী শেখ হাসিনার জন্য অথবা তার পরিবার পরিজনদের জন্য সাবকবলা দলিল করা। যেহেতু কিয়ামত পর্যন্ত কেউ আওয়ামী লীগের সভাপতি হতে পারবে না, স্বাভাবিক কারণেই আওয়ামী লীগ ক্ষমতায় গেলে সরকারপ্রধানও হবেন তারাই, জননেত্রী শেখ হাসিনার পরিবার। এমনকি তার পরিবারে কোনো লোকজন না থাকলে তার বাড়ির কুত্তা বিড়াল হবে। তবু অন্য কেউ হতে পারবে না। একটি শ্রমিকের ছেলে, কৃষকের ছেলে, উকিল-মোক্তার-ডাক্তার কিংবা দোকানির ছেলে যোগ্য হলে আমেরিকার প্রেসিডেন্ট হলেও হতে পারে। কিন্তু আওয়ামী লীগ করে বাংলাদেশের সরকারপ্রধান হতে পারবে না। কথাগুলো যখন বলার চেষ্টা করেছি তখন আওয়ামী লীগ থেকে গালাগালের শিকার হয়েছি। এখন কৃষক শ্রমিক জনতা লীগ নামে একটি রাজনৈতিক দল গঠন করে গামছা নিয়ে সারাদেশ ঘুরছি, মানুষ দু'হাতে বুকে তুলে নিচ্ছে, সব রকম সাহায্য করতে উতালা হয়ে পড়েছে। এখন আবার নতুন ষড়যন্ত্র শুরু হয়েছে। অনেক দিন থেকে শাহবাগ উত্তাল। কিন্তু কোনো দিকনির্দেশনা পায়নি। জাগরণের প্রথম দিকটা ছিল স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত। এরপর শুরু হয়েছে দখলের চেষ্টা। এখন তা মহামারীর আকার ধারণ করেছে। তবু মানুষ শাহবাগকে সমর্থন জানাচ্ছে। যার মধ্যে আমিও একজন। আর কিছু না হোক দেশ যে কারোর খামখেয়ালিতে চলতে পারে না তার সফল সংকেত দিয়েছে শাহবাগ। কিছু দলকানাদের ছাড়া শাহবাগ একটি বিস্ময়কর গণজাগরণ। অনেকে হয়তো শাহবাগের তারুণ্যের আড়ালে স্বার্থসিদ্ধির চেষ্টা করেছে। তারা তাদের মতো করে আন্দোলনকে নিতে চাচ্ছে। কে না চায় নেতা হতে? সবাই চায়। আমার মতো বেকুব ক'জন আছে? আন্দোলনকে পদে পদে সমর্থন করার পরও কিছু বকধর্মী উদ্দেশ্যপ্রণোদিতভাবে মুক্তিযুদ্ধ এবং মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের খাটো করতে আমার নামে কুত্সা ছড়াচ্ছে। ছাত্রলীগ বা ছাত্র ইউনিয়নের কোনো চামচা গালাগাল করলে এখন আর গায়ে মাখি না। ছেলেকে গালি দিলে বাপ পর্যন্ত যায়। আমাকে গালি দিলে মুক্তিযুদ্ধকে গালি দেয়া হয়। মুক্তিযুদ্ধকে গালি দিলে জাতির জনক বঙ্গবন্ধু অক্ষত থাকেন না। তিনি হন ক্ষতবিক্ষত-রক্তাক্ত। তারপরও না-বুঝরা না বুঝলে আমি কী করব? আগেরকার দিনে কাজ না থাকলে যেমন চাচার নামে মামলা দিতো, সেদিন আমার প্রিয় নামকরা লেখক ইমদাদুল হক মিলনের সম্পাদনায় কালের কণ্ঠে দেখলাম ঠিক সেরকম—'কাদের সিদ্দিকীর বঙ্গবীর এবং বীর উত্তম খেতাব কেড়ে নেয়া হবে' শিরোনামে এক প্রতিবেদন। প্রতিবেদক এত বড় একটা কাজ করতে গেলেন, একটুও তলিয়ে দেখলেন না। আমি গণসংযোগে ছিলাম, তখন তিনি ফোন করেছিলেন। হঠাত্ জিজ্ঞাসা করে বসলেন, আপনি কিভাবে বঙ্গবীর হলেন? বেঁচে থাকার কী বিড়ম্বনা দেখুন। আমি কোথায় কিভাবে বঙ্গবীর হলাম বেঁচে আছি বলে আমাকেই বয়ান করতে হবে। জনগণ আমায় বানিয়েছে বঙ্গবীর, না নিজেই বলেছি? কোনো সন্তানের জন্মের কথা সে বলবে নাকি তার বাপ-মা, চাচা-চাচী, খালা-খালু বলবে? আমি কী করে বঙ্গবীর হলাম এটা কবর থেকে বঙ্গবন্ধুকে তুলে জিজ্ঞাসা করা দরকার, জেনারেল ওসমানীকে জিজ্ঞাসা করা দরকার। দলকানা, ভ্রষ্ট বুদ্ধিজীবীদের কথার জবাব দিতে কেমন জানি নিজেকে বড় বেশি ছোট মনে হয়। দু'কলম লিখে অনেকেই পণ্ডিত হয়ে গেছেন। এক পণ্ডিত মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় কিছুদিন কলকাতার রাস্তায় রাস্তায় ঘুরেছেন। তিনি মন্তব্য করেছেন, বঙ্গবীর খেতাবের কোনো কাগজপত্র নেই। জানি না তিনি দুনিয়ার সবকিছু জানেন কিনা। ছেলেবেলায় বাবা-মা নাম রেখেছেন 'বজ্র'। স্কুল কলেজে পড়তে গিয়ে নাম হয়েছে 'কাদের'। আমার নামের আগে পিছে বাবা এত বিশেষণ দিয়েছিলেন, যার একটাও আমার মনে নেই। জনাব প্রতিবেদক, জনাব মুনতাসীর মামুনদের মতো লোকদের জিজ্ঞাসা না করে গ্রামগঞ্জের ৮০-৯০ বছরের বৃদ্ধকে জিজ্ঞাসা করে দেখতেন তারা কী বলে। নিয়াজীকে কবর থেকে তুলে একবার জিজ্ঞাসা করতেন নিয়াজী কী বলেন। এখন যদি আমার কোনো দোষ থাকে, পছন্দ না হয় সেগুলো নিয়ে আলোচনা করে দেখতে পারেন। আমার অতীত নিয়ে এত টানাটানি কেন? ওটা খুবই ঝকঝকে তকতকে। আমি গাঁজা ভাং খাই না, মতও বদলাই না। আমি যা করি আল্লাহকে হাজের নাজের জেনেই করি। যুদ্ধ করে দেশকে স্বাধীন করেছিলাম, কোনো মূল্য পাইনি। অপমান অপদস্থ ছাড়া দলকানারা কোনো সম্মান দেয়নি। কিন্তু জনসাধারণ সব সময় বিপদে আপদে বুকে তুলে নিয়েছেন। আজও রাস্তাঘাটে মানুষের আদর স্নেহ মায়া মমতায় ডুবে থাকি। চেষ্টা করে অর্জন করে দেখবেন কেমন লাগে। এত ক্ষেপেছেন কেন? আমি কি মিথ্যা বলেছি? যতকাল শান্তির ধর্ম ইসলাম থাকবে ততকাল ইসলামী দল, ইসলামী রাজনীতি থাকবে—এর জন্য বঙ্গবীর, বীর উত্তম ওইসব কাগুজে নাম কেন, জীবন দিতেও প্রস্তুত। দলিল দস্তাবেজ উপস্থাপন করে বঙ্গবীর, বীর উত্তম রাখতে হবে? এক পণ্ডিত বলেছেন ছাত্রদের পক্ষ থেকে তোফায়েল আহমেদ শেখ মুজিবকে 'বঙ্গবন্ধু' উপাধি দিয়েছিলেন। ছাত্রদের পক্ষ থেকে হলে ছাত্রবন্ধু উপাধি দেয়া উচিত ছিল। বঙ্গের বন্ধু বঙ্গবন্ধু উপাধি দেয়ার কথা নয়। কিন্তু সে সময় টুঙ্গিপাড়ার শেখ লুত্ফর রহমানের ছেলে শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান জনগণের হৃদয়ে বন্ধু হিসেবেই ঠাঁই করে নিয়ে ছিলেন। তাই তোফায়েল আহমেদের কণ্ঠে উচ্চারিত 'বঙ্গবন্ধু' দেশের মানুষ সাদরে গ্রহণ করেছিল। তাই '৬৯-এর মহানায়ক তোফায়েল আহমেদের কণ্ঠে উচ্চারিত বঙ্গবন্ধু শব্দের সঙ্গে সাড়ে সাত কোটি বাঙালি একাকার হয়ে গিয়েছিল। আমাকে বঙ্গবীর বলতে আপনাদের এখন বাজে, মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় এই অধম ছাড়া বাকি সবাই লেজ গুটিয়ে ভারতে পালিয়েছিল। আমাকে নিয়ে এত টানাহেঁচড়া কেন? মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময়ের দশটা মানুষকে জিজ্ঞাসা করেন কাদের সিদ্দিকী কী? ঝড় এলে আল্লাহ আল্লাহ, ঝড় গেলে কিসের আল্লাহ—এসব ভালো না। মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় বঙ্গবীর বলে এলাকার জনগণ ডাকতেন। অনেকবার বাধা দিয়েছি। কিন্তু থামিয়ে রাখতে পারিনি, আস্তে আস্তে ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। আমাকে বঙ্গবীর বলায় আমার নিজের কাছেই বিরক্ত লাগে, ছোট মনে হয়। আমার বাপ-মা'র দেয়া বজ্রের চেয়ে বঙ্গবীর নখের সমানও না। এ নিয়ে মারামারি কাটাকাটি করতে যাবো কেন? হাট-বাজার, মাঠঘাট দখলকারী, বিশ্বজিতের হত্যাকারীরা যদি নিয়ে নিতে চায় নিয়ে নেবে। জাতির প্রতি ত্যাগের জন্য তাদের মা বাবারা কৃতজ্ঞতার নিদর্শন হিসেবে 'বঙ্গবীর' বলে ডাকতেন, অকৃতজ্ঞরা যদি না ডাকে আমার কী করার আছে। তবে দলকানা পণ্ডিতদের বলি, বঙ্গবন্ধু জাতির পিতা, সারা পৃথিবী খুঁজে কোনো লেখাজোখা দেখাতে পারবেন না। কোনো পণ্ডিতদের মুরোদ হবে না। বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় সংসদের লাইব্রেরি ৩ বছর খোঁজাখুঁজি করেছি, বাড়িতে কত বই ঘেঁটে দেখেছি, বঙ্গবন্ধু জাতির পিতা তার দলিল কোথাও পাইনি। অযথা করকর করে অন্যের চরিত্র হননে লাভ কী? ১৯৭৫ সালে যেদিন কৃষক শ্রমিক আওয়ামী লীগ গঠন করা হয়েছিল, বঙ্গবন্ধুকে প্রধানমন্ত্রী থেকে রাষ্ট্রপতি করা হয়েছিল, সেখানে লেখা আছে জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান রাষ্ট্রপতি হইবেন। এছাড়া সরকারি কোনো কাগজে জাতির পিতা লেখা নেই। বক্তৃতায় আছে, বিবৃতিতে আছে, সেখানেও ব্যাখ্যা করা হয়নি, টুঙ্গিপাড়ার শেখ লুত্ফর রহমানের ছেলে বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান কবে কোথায় কিভাবে জাতির পিতা হয়েছিলেন। আর যদি তাকে বাঙালি জাতির পিতা বুঝায় তাহলে সেটাও ভুল। বঙ্গবন্ধু কখনও বাঙালি জাতির পিতা নন, তিনি বাংলাদেশের পিতা। বাঙালি জাতির জন্ম অনেক আগে। প্রকৃত অর্থে বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান বাংলাদেশের জনক। শাহবাগে তারুণ্য জেগেছিল বেশ কিছুদিন। মনটা আনন্দে ফুরফুর করছিল। চিমটি কাটলেও যারা ব্যথা পায় না তাদের অন্তত শাহবাগ জাগিয়েছিল। কিন্তু ষড়যন্ত্র আর ষড়যন্ত্র, ষড়যন্ত্রের যেন শেষ নেই। ছেলেবেলায় গ্রামগঞ্জে মরা গরু-ছাগলের চামড়া নিতে কসাই দেখতাম। চামড়া ছাড়াতে বড় তাড়াহুড়া করতো তারা। প্রথম বুঝতাম না। বড় হয়ে বুঝলাম বড় বিচিত্র নিয়ম। যেখানে মরা গরু-ছাগল ফেলা হয় সেই ক্ষেতের সীমানায় থাকলে সেটা সবার সম্পদ। চামড়া ছুলে সীমানা পার হলেই আর কেউ ভাগ পায় না। তাই মরা গরু, ছাগল, ভেড়া, মহিষের চামড়া ছুলতে কসাইদের দারুণ তাড়াহুড়া। কারণ, একেবারে শেষ মুহূর্তেও কেউ যদি শরিক হতে নাও পারে, ছুটে এসে দূর থেকে ছুরি ঢিল মারলে সেই ছুরি যদি সীমানায় পড়ে তাহলেই অর্ধেক ভাগ। রাজনৈতিক সব সংগ্রাম আন্দোলনকে প্রায় এভাবেই সবাই নিজের দিকে টানতে চায়। আমি পারলে আমিও করতাম। বিষয়টা সুস্থভাবে হলে খুব একটা দোষের নয়। কিন্তু যখন ভীষণ অসুস্থভাবে হয় তখনই দোষের হয়। কতটা দিন শাহবাগে একনাগাড়ে উচ্চারিত হলো ধর্মীয় দল নিষিদ্ধ করো। ধর্মীয় রাজনীতি করা চলবে না। জামায়াত ইসলাম নিষিদ্ধ করতে হবে। জামায়াত ইসলাম আর আল্লাহর ইসলাম এক নয় তা-ই আমি স্পষ্ট করেছিলাম। আজ কত সুন্দরভাবে বলা হচ্ছে, ধর্মের বিরুদ্ধে শাহবাগের আন্দোলন নয়। আমিও তো তা-ই বলেছি। কত ভালো কথা। ব্লগার রাজীব খুন হয়েছিল মিরপুরে। তার লাশ এনে অজু ছাড়া হিন্দু মুসলমান-বৌদ্ধ-খ্রিস্টান নারী-পুরুষ চারদিক ঘেরাও করে চার তকবিরের জানাজা মশকারি করে তিন তকবিরে আদায় করল। আবার স্লোগান দিতে দিতে শান্ত নামে এক আন্দোলনকারী শাহবাগেই মারা গেছে। তার জানাজা কিন্তু শাহবাগে হয়নি, হয়েছে মসজিদে। খুবই ভালো কথা। আমি তো এটাই চেয়েছি। আন্দোলনের জায়গায় আন্দোলন, নামাজের জায়গায় নামাজ হলেই তার কোনো বিরোধ থাকে না। আমি শুধু বলতে চেয়েছি, মক্কার কাবা ছাড়া আর কোথাও চারপাশে মুসলমানের এবাদত চলে না। শাহবাগে রাজীবের জানাজা পড়া কি ধর্মসিদ্ধ হয়েছে? কতটা দিন ফাঁসি-ফাঁসি-ফাঁসি চাই, রাজাকারের ফাঁসি চাই শুনে শুনে মাত্র এক দুইটা রাজাকারের নাম বলেছি। তাতেই আমার নামে মামলা। এখন জেলের হাত থেকে আমাকে বাঁচাবে কে? ১৪০ টাকা বেতনের রাজাকারের যদি ফাঁসি হয়, হাজার হাজার রাজাকার-আলবদর-আলশামস-দালাল শান্তি কমিটি যারা বানিয়েছে, নিয়ন্ত্রণ করেছে, তাদের কি কিছুই হবে না? বর্তমান স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী মহীউদ্দীন খান আলমগীরের ১৯৪২ সালের পহেলা মার্চে জন্ম। ১৯৬৫ সালে সিএসপি হিসেবে সিনিয়রিটি পে-সার্ভিস, পহেলা জুলাই ১৯৭০ সিনিয়র স্কেল পেয়েছেন। ১৬ ডিসেম্বর ১৯৭১ বাংলাদেশ স্বাধীন হওয়া পর্যন্ত নিরন্তর পাকিস্তান সিভিল সার্ভিসে ডিসির চাকরি করে পাকিস্তানি খুনিদের সহায়তা করেছেন। তারপরও আওয়ামীপন্থীরা বলছে মুক্তিযুদ্ধে সাহায্য করেছে। এখন নিয়াজী-টিক্কারা যদি বলে আমরাও মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের সাহায্য করেছি, তাদের কথা খণ্ডাবো কী করে? বড় সমস্যায় আছি। ১৮ দলীয় জোটনেত্রী বেগম খালেদা জিয়া এত চাপের মাঝেও জামায়াতকে তার জোট থেকে বের করেননি। মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা এক সময় বেগম খালেদা জিয়া সরকারের পতন ঘটাতে জামায়াতে ইসলামীকে সঙ্গে নিয়েছিলেন। জামায়াত নেতাদের সঙ্গে প্রেস কনফারেন্সের এবং অন্যান্য সময়ের শত শত হাজার হাজার ছবি আছে। এক সময় বদরুল হায়দার চৌধুরীকে রাষ্ট্রপতি পদে প্রার্থী করে আওয়ামী লীগ গোলাম আযমের কাছে দোয়া চাইতে গিয়েছিল। তার শত সহস্র প্রমাণ আছে। তারা কেউ রাজাকার হলো না? আজ পর্যন্ত কোনোদিন জামায়াতের নেতারা থাকলে কোনো সভায় গেলাম না। জেল থেকে বেরিয়ে ঘূর্ণিঝড় পরবর্তী শুকরিয়া মিলাদে একবার সুগন্ধায় গিয়েছিলাম। সেখানে হয়তো আয়োজকরা বুদ্ধি করেই জনাব নিজামীকে আমার পাশে বসিয়েছিল। মিলাদ শেষে আমার দিকে হাত বাড়ালে আমি কোনো সাড়া দেইনি। আমার জানুতে তিনি হাত রেখেছিলেন। জাতীয় পত্রপত্রিকায় সেই ছবিও এসেছিল। এ নিয়ে আমাকে কত গালাগাল করা হয়েছিল। মা-বাবা নেই, পিতাসম বড় ভাই লতিফ সিদ্দিকী আচ্ছারকম গালাগাল করে নাস্তানাবুদ করে ছেড়েছিলেন। দু'-একবার ভেবেছি জনাব নিজামীকে পাশে বসানোর পরেও কেন বসেছিলাম। সেদিন আমি কোনো ভুল করিনি তো। আবার মনে হয়েছে, প্রতারণা করলে প্রতারকরা করেছে। ঘূর্ণিঝড় পরবর্তী শুকরিয়া আদায়ে আমি সেখানে গেছি খোলা মন নিয়ে। আল্লাহই আমাকে রক্ষা করবেন। শাহবাগ চত্বরের দুই নেত্রীর প্রতি কোনো অভিযোগ নেই। যতকাল ইসলাম থাকবে ততকাল ইসলামী রাজনীতি থাকবে—একথা বলায় আমি নব্য রাজাকার হলাম। রাজাকারদের প্রতিষ্ঠান, জামায়াতিদের প্রতিষ্ঠান দিগন্ত টেলিভিশনে কেন অংশ নিই সেজন্য নব্য রাজাকার হলাম। তবে কি দু'দিন পরে বলা হবে আমি যে হানাদারদের অস্ত্র নিয়ে যুদ্ধ করেছি তাহলে কি হানাদার হবো? উত্তর খুঁজে পাই না। এ ক'দিন যখন একের পর এক ধর্মভিত্তিক দল বাতিল করো, বাতিল করো, ইসলামী দল বাতিল করো স্লোগান হচ্ছিল, তখন অনেকেই ইঁদুরের গর্তে লুকিয়ে ছিল। কমবেশি সবকিছুরই শেখার প্রয়োজন আছে। দেশ পরিচালনা করবেন, ক্ষমতা দখল অথবা জয় করবেন, রাজনীতি শিখবেন না—তা কখনও হয়? গতকাল হরতাল না দিলে কী হতো? আজ তো বিক্ষোভ সমাবেশ দিয়েছেন, গতকালও তাই দিতেন। শহীদ মিনারে আপনাদের যেতে বলল কে? শহীদ মিনার ভাংচুর করে এদেশে কোনো জল্লাদ টিকেনি, আপনারাও টিকবেন না। হাতির রাজা আব্রা যেমনি আল্লাহর ঘর কাবা দখল করতে পারেনি, তেমনি বাঙালির শহীদ মিনারে কেউ হাত দিলে তা ঝলসে যাবে, কারও রক্ষা নেই। যুবকরা শাহবাগে প্রজন্ম মঞ্চ করেছে, আপনারা একটা আজন্ম মঞ্চ করুন। কে আপনাদের বাধা দেয়। কিন্তু শুক্রবারে আপনারা কাজটা ভালো করেননি। সরকারের কথা বলবেন, সরকার তো ভালো না। মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় পাকিস্তানি হানাদাররা মসজিদ লক্ষ্য করে এভাবে গুলি ছোড়েনি। দু'-এক জায়গায় কামানের গোলা নিক্ষেপ করে আল্লাহর ঘরের ক্ষতি করার ফল তারা পেয়েছে। এ গুলি ছোড়ার ফলও তারা পাবে। কিন্তু সেজন্য একটু ধৈর্য ধরতে হবে। জাতির এই ক্রান্তিকালে অধৈর্য হলে আমরা আরও অন্ধকারে তলিয়ে যাবো। তাই আমি দলমত নির্বিশেষে সবার কাছে আহ্বান জানাই, আসুন না একমাত্র জামায়াত ছাড়া আর সবাই বসে আলাপ আলোচনা করে কোনো আলোর সন্ধান পাই কিনা। কোনো বাতি জ্বালাতে পারি কিনা চেষ্টা করি।

Specially when you think about the victims of the 1971 mass murders, rapes etc. Moreover, Sheikh Hasina came to power with a heavy mandate and one of her strongest commitments was to prosecute the war criminals, so what she did in the past is now irrelevant to meet her public commitment. My Opinion: I have no doubt there are war criminals in Jamat. But in order to have a transparent trial, we need to get International Criminal Court (ICC) (located in the Hague, Netherlands) involved to ensure a fair trial. We need to do this trial so that justice is done on all war criminals no matter which party (AL, BNP, Jamaat, and others) they belong to.
