I have heard all these arguments millions of times from Jamat/BNP. Nothing new in it. All these propaganda are to save the Razakars - the Pakistani lovers. Please do not think that we are less intelligent than you are. I love Bangladesh more than any one of you. A group of people are out in the international market in support of the Razakars to turn our independent Bangladesh into a part of Pakistan again.
During the liberation war once I was caught by the Razakars and was beaten so badly that the Razakars though I was dead. I was rescued in a counter attack by my comrades and I was survived by the grace of almighty Allah. I shed my blood for our liberation. I am still carrying the signs of injuries in my body since 1971. I still remember that my feet were hanged with the ceiling fan at the Razakar Camp of Chanchkoir Hat of Gurudaspur Thana of Natore District (the then sub-division) and my head was hanging down about 3 feet above the floor. When the Razakars were beating me and I was crying and asking for water, these worse than animal subhuman Razakars pied into my mouth and over my face.
You people do not know the pains of freedom fighting. You do not know how cruel and inhuman these Razakars, Al-Badrs and Pakistani occupation forces were. I fought against these Razakars and will continue to fight out these Razakars till I die. I therefore, continue to fight out any act/writing of any person which goes to support these Razakars.
You better learn about the cruelty and brutality of the Razakars, Al-Badrs and Pakistani occupation forces before you write anything which might help the Razakars to survive and give them opportunity to turn Bangladesh into a part of Pakistan again.
I know many donot like my postings, because they either did not see the liberation war or they are the Razakar supporters and Pakistani lovers. So, my fight will continue against them.

"১৯৭১-এর পরিস্থিতি ছিল খুবই জটিল। আওয়ামী লীগের অন্য নেতারা ভারতে গেলেও শেখ মুজিব চেষ্টা করেননি ভারতে যেতে। যদিও তিনি ভারতে যেতে চাইলে যেতে পারতেন খুবই সহজে। শেখ মুজিব ঠিক কী চেয়েছিলেন, আমরা তা জানি না। ১৯৭৪ সালের ৩০ অক্টোবর মার্কিন পররাষ্ট্র দফতরের সেক্রেটারি হেনরি কিসিঞ্জারকে ঢাকায় কথোপকথনের সময় বলেন, ১৯৭১-এর যুদ্ধ ছিল গৃহযুদ্ধ (Civil war)। তিনি ১৯৭১-এর যুদ্ধকে মুক্তিযুদ্ধ বলে উল্লেখ করেননি। তার এই কথোপকথনের দলিল ছিল গোপন। ২০০৭ সালের ১১ অক্টোবর মার্কিন পররাষ্ট্র দফতর থেকে এই গোপন দলিল প্রকাশ করা হয়। মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে প্রতি ৩০ বছর পরপর অনেক গোপন দলিল প্রকাশ করা হয়। কারণ, মনে করা হয়, এসব গোপন দলিল প্রকাশ করা হলে সুবিধা হবে ইতিহাস গ্রন্থ রচনার। শেখ মুজিব কিসিঞ্জারের সাথে কথালাপের সময় ১৯৭১-এর যুদ্ধকে মুক্তিযুদ্ধ না বলে কেন গৃহযুদ্ধ হিসেবে উল্লেখ করেছেন, তা আমরা বলতে পারি না। যদিও আওয়ামী লীগ ১৯৭১-এর যুদ্ধকে মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধ বলেই উল্লেখ করে থাকে। শেখ মুজিব কী চেয়েছিলেন তা অন্য কারণেও আমরা বলতে পারি না। শেখ মুজিব ১৯৭০ সালে নির্বাচন করেছিলেন ইয়াহিয়া খান প্রদত্ত লিগ্যাল ফ্রেমওয়ার্ক অর্ডার মেনে। যাতে বলা হয়েছিল, পাকিস্তান হবে একটি প্রজাতন্ত্র। পাকিস্তানের রাষ্ট্রপ্রধান সব সময় হবেন একজন মুসলমান, আর রাষ্ট্রিক আদর্শ হিসেবে পাকিস্তান মেনে চলবে ইসলামি ভাবাদর্শ। শেখ মুজিব এই শর্তগুলো মেনেই করেছিলেন নির্বাচন। এর মধ্যে কোথাও ছিল না পাকিস্তান ভেঙে দেয়ার কথা। শেখ মুজিব তার ৭ মার্চের বিখ্যাত ভাষণে বলেছিলেন, তিনি হলেন পাকিস্তানের মেজরিটি পার্টির নেতা। তিনি নিজেকে ঘোষণা করেননি পূর্ব পাকিস্তান অথবা বাংলাদেশের নেতা হিসেবে। ভোটের রায় মানলে সাবেক পাকিস্তান ভেঙে যেত এরকম ভাবার কোনো কারণ নেই। শেখ মুজিব সাবেক পাকিস্তানকে ভেঙে দিতে চাননি। তিনি ৮ জানুয়ারি বর্তমান পাকিস্তান থেকে মুক্তি পেয়ে যান লন্ডনে। সেখানে গিয়ে সাংবাদিক এ্যান্থনি মাসকারেনহ্যাসকে বলেন, তিনি পাকিস্তান ভেঙে দিতে চাচ্ছেন না। বর্তমান পাকিস্তানের সাথে রাখতে চাচ্ছেন একটা বিশেষ সম্পর্ক। Shahadat Suhrawardy.
