Another bombshell!!! Law minister, Advocate Anisul Haque, blasts the BAL lies about Dr. Piash Karim and his family. He said, he has proof of what he said in support of Dr. Piash Karim and his family, and that he knew the family very well.
His statement was published yesterday, 18 October 2014, in the Amader Shomoy (http://www.amadershomoys.com/newsite/2014/10/18/126540.htm#.VEJ1_Mu9KSM),
though it was later removed, but some other newspapers had already picked it up. It is not known whether Anisul Haque would now be vilified by the BKSAL, as Gen Osmani, six sector commanders, and many, many others have been.
Anisul Huq's statement on Dr. Piash Karim and his family is another bombshell on the heinous BAL campaigns, its trampling of all values, and its marching of foot soldiers, aided and abetted by India, on the Shaheed Minar to hurl insult at deceased Dr. Piash Karim, similar to its marching of foot soldiers in the past, as on Shahbag roundabout for anti-Bangladesh and anti-Islam campaign, and in many similar cases, such as, on 28 October 2006 to most brutally lynch 5 innocent people to death by 'logi baitha' (poles and oars) in order to snatch the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh through the Manmohan-Bush conspiracy of 1/11 2007.
The most urgent task for the nation today is to oust the present brutal, mindless, fascist BKSAL regime.

মুক্তিযুদ্ধের পক্ষে থাকায় পিয়াস গ্রেপ্তার হয়েছিলেন: আইনমন্ত্রী
আরটিএনএনমুক্তিযুদ্ধের স্বপক্ষে বৈঠক করায় অধ্যাপক পিয়াস করিমকে একাত্তরে পাকিস্তানি বাহিনী ধরে নিয়ে গিয়েছিল বলে জানিয়েছেন আইনমন্ত্রী অ্যাডভোকেট আনিসুল হক।
দৈনিক আমাদের সময়-কে তিনি বলেন, প্রয়াত অধ্যাপক পিয়াস করিমকে ১৯৭১ সালের মাঝামাঝি সময়ে পাকিস্তান সেনাবাহিনী ধরে নিয়ে গিয়েছিল। তার কুমিল্লার বাসার সামনে থেকে তাকে তারা তুলে নিয়ে যায়। আটকে রাখে কুমিল্লা সার্কিট হাউজে।
ওই সময়ে পিয়াস করিম ছিলেন চার বোনের এক ভাই। বাবার একমাত্র ছেলে। এই কারণে তাকে ছাড়ানোর জন্য সব ধরনের চেষ্টাই করা হয়। এর অংশ হিসাবে পাকিস্তান সেনাবাহিনীর সঙ্গেও যোগাযোগ করা হয়।
তখন পিয়াস করিমের বাবা অ্যাডভোকেট এম এ করিমকে পাকিস্তান সেনাবাহিনীর শর্ত মেনে নিতে হয়। তাদের শর্ত ছিল তারা পিয়াস করিমকে মুক্তি করে দিবে, তবে সে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের পক্ষে কোনো কাজ করতে পারবে না। কোনো বৈঠক করতে পারবে না। দ্বিতীয়ত তাকে শান্তি কমিটির চেয়ারম্যানের দায়িত্ব নিতে হবে। তাদের পক্ষে কাজ করতে হবে।
আইনমন্ত্রী বলেন, 'আমি পিয়াস করিমের ব্যাপারে অনেক কিছুই জানি। যেটা আমি বলছি তা আমার প্রমাণও করতে পারবো। আমি দায়িত্ব নিয়েই বলছি।'
তিনি বলেন, 'অনেকেই বলছেন পিয়াস করিমের দাদা ছিলেন রাজাকার। কিন্তু এই কথাটি ঠিক নয়। কারণ তার দাদা ছিলেন ড. আবদুর রউফ। তিনি ১৯৫৭ কি ১৯৫৮ সালে মারা গেছেন। একজন মৃত মানুষ রাজাকার হন কেমন করে? তার রাজাকার হওয়ার খবরটি যে গণজাগরণ মঞ্চ কিংবা অন্যান্যরা বলছে এটা ঠিক না।'
পিয়াস করিমের দাদা সম্পর্কে বলতে গিয়ে আনিসুল হক বলেন, 'তার নানা লিল মিয়া। বাড়ি বাঞ্ছারামপুর। তিনি যুক্তফন্ট্রের সঙ্গে যুক্ত ছিলেন। আবার স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রীও ছিলেন। তার নানা স্বাধীনতার যুদ্ধের পর মারা গেছেন তবে রাজাকার ছিলেন না। কোথাও রাজাকার হিসাবে তার নামও নেই।'
তিনি বলেন, 'আমি এও শুনেছি তিনি নাকি কুমিল্লা জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের ফাউন্ডার প্রেসিডেন্ট ছিলেন।'
আইনমন্ত্রী বলেন, 'যাই হোক এবার আসি পিয়াস করিমের বাবার কথায়। তিনি কুমিল্লার একজন আইনজীবী ছিলেন, সুখ্যাতিও ছিল। তিনি এডভোকেট এম এ করিম। তার রাজনৈতিক জীবনের শুরুর দিকে আওয়ামী লীগের রাজনীতির সঙ্গে জড়িত ছিলেন। কুমিল্লা জিলা আওয়ামী লীগের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা কোষাধ্যক্ষর দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন।
তিনি আওয়ামী রাজনীতির সঙ্গে জড়িত থাকলেও এখন তিনি গণজাগরণের কাছে রাজাকার। তবে এটা ঠিক তিনি শান্তি কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান ছিলেন। এর পেছনের কারণ হচ্ছে তার ছেলেকে রক্ষা করা।
আনিসুল হক বলেন, ১৯৭১ সালে পিয়াস করিম কুমিল্লা জিলা স্কুলে সম্ভবত ক্লাস ফাইভে পড়তেন। ওই সময়ে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের জোয়ার সারা দেশে উত্তাল। তখন তিনিও মুক্তিযুদ্ধের পক্ষেই একটি বৈঠক করেছিলেন। ওই বৈঠক করার পর তাকে তার বাসার কাছ থেকে পাকিস্তানি বাহিনী ধরে নিয়ে যায়।
পিয়াস ছিল চার বোনের এক ভাই। এই কারণে আদরও ছিল বেশি। এই আদরের কারণেই তাকে মুক্ত করার জন্য পরিবারের সদস্যরা উতলা হয়ে যান। পরে পাকিস্তান আর্মির সঙ্গে কথা বলেন তার বাবা। পাকিস্তান আর্মি তাকে শর্ত দেয়। সেই অনুযায়ী ওই বন্ডেও সাইন করেন।
এরপর তিনি মুক্তিযুদ্ধের শেষ দিকে এসে শান্তি কমিটির চেয়ারম্যানের দায়িত্ব নেন। শান্তি কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান হলেও মুক্তিযুদ্ধের পক্ষেই ছিলেন। কারণ ওই পদে থেকেও তিনি মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের সহায়তা করেছেন। তাদের জন্য কার্ডেরও ব্যবস্থা করতেন। পরিচয় পত্র দিয়েছিলেন অনেক মুক্তিযোদ্ধাকে। তারপরও তাকে জেলে যেতে হয়েছিল। জেল থেকে তিনি বঙ্গবন্ধুর উদ্যোগেই ছাড়া পেয়েছিলেন।
তিনি বলেন, 'পিয়াস করিমের বোন মিসেস তৌফিকা আমার বাবার জুনিয়র ছিলেন। বঙ্গবন্ধুর হত্যা মামলায় সরকারি পক্ষের আইনজীবী হিসেবে কাজ করেছেন। তাই অবাক লাগে পিয়াস করিম কেমন করে রাজাকারের নাতি, ছেলে বা রাজাকার হোন।
আইনমন্ত্রী বলেন, আসলে কেউ কেউ বলেছেন এম এ করিম বীরেন দত্তকে হত্যা করিয়েছেন। কিন্তু বীরেন দত্তকেতো ১৯৭১ সালের ২৭ কিংবা ২৮ মার্চ ধরে নিয়ে গিয়েছিল। তাকেতো এম এ করিম হত্যা করাননি।
তিনি বলেন, 'আসলে পিয়াস করিম যে রাজনৈতিক মতাদর্শে বিশ্বাসী ছিলেন সেটা নিয়ে আমি কিছু বলতে চাই না। বা তিনি তার মত প্রকাশে যে রকম ছিলেন সেটা নিয়ে বলবো না। কারণ ভিন্ন মত মানুষ প্রকাশ করতে পারে। তবে কারো সম্পর্কে বলতে হলে অবশ্যই জেনে শুনে ও সঠিক তথ্য নিয়ে বলতে হবে।'
আনিসুল হক বলেন, 'পিয়াস করিমকে নিয়ে ছাত্র মৈত্রী ও গণজাগরণ মঞ্চের নেতারা যে সব কথা বলেছেন এই সব অনেক কথার কোন ভিত্তি নেই। আমি যে কথাগুলো বললাম এই সব কথা চির সত্য। কেউ আমার সঙ্গে দ্বিমত পোষণ করলে তা আমি মিথ্যে প্রমাণ করে দিতে পারবো।'
