Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan on Thursday criticised US foreign policy and several aspects of the joint statement made by US President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter's visit to Washington earlier this week.

In the first of several tweets, Khan noted that the joint statement at the White House by the leaders of the world's two largest economies had left US foreign policy bare of morality.

"Trump-Modi statement has removed fig leaf of morality and justice in US foreign policy which is now only based on arms sales and financial gains," the PTI chief wrote on Twitter.

The PTI chairman was referring to the sale of high-tech US military hardware to India, which was approved by the Trump administration during Modi's two-day visit to Washington.

The transaction included the purchase of $2 billion of naval surveillance drones by India and a $366 million C-17 transport plane.

With the sale of the military equipment, the US and Indian governments hope for greater military co-operation.

Afghan policy will prevent resolution

In subsequent tweets, the PTI chief also criticised the Trump administration's Afghan policy and the US's recognition of India's role in Afghanistan.

"Trump has no business giving India an interventionist role in Afghanistan when, unlike India, it is Pakistan that shares border with Afghanistan," Khan wrote on Twitter.

During bilateral talks with the Indian prime minister, Trump said he wanted to "thank the Indian people" for their contribution to development in Afghanistan.

Modi had in turn said India "would maintain close consultation and communication with the US" to achieve the joint goal of "peace and stability."

The US had also offered to help New Delhi in cementing its ties with Kabul.

Concerns were raised in the US and Islamabad that such measures by the Trump administration could jeopardise Pak-US relations and raise tensions between Pakistan and India.

Washington is considering deploying up to 5,000 extra troops to help local forces fighting insurgent groups in Afghanistan.

The deployment will be the largest of American manpower under Donald Trump's young presidency.

'Trump siding with oppressor'

Khan further asserted that the US move to designate Syed Salahuddin, a senior figure in the Kashmiri separatist group Hizbul Mujahideen, as a global terrorist was a sign that Trump had aligned with "oppressor India".

He likened Indian oppression in Kashmir to the oppression of Palestinians that, he said, has the support of Washington.

"By trying to lump indigenous Kashmiri freedom struggle as terrorism Trump siding with oppressor India as US supports oppressor in Palestine," Khan wrote on Twitter.

[mukto-mona] নিম্ন আদালতের বিচারকদের আচরনবিধির গেজেট প্রকাশ কেন প্রয়োজন?



মহামান্য প্রেসিডেন্ট ও মাননীয় প্রধান মন্ত্রীর সদয় হস্তক্ষেপ কামনা।


সিলেটের বিভাগীয় স্পেশালজজ আদালতে স্পেশাল মামলা নং ২১/০৯ আমলে নেওয়া হয় ১৩/১০/০৯ইং তাং এবং ২-৩মিনিটের মধ্যে  ১০/১১/২০০৯ইং তাং এর চার্জ গঠন করা হয়। একই কোর্টে একই ৩জন আসামীর বিরুদ্ধে স্পেশাল মামলা নং ২৩/০৯ আমলে নেওয়া হয় ২০/১০/০৯ইং তাং এবং ২-৩মিনিটের মধ্যে  ১০/১১/২০০৯ইং তাং এর চার্জ গঠন করা হয়। একজন আসামী মাননীয় উচ্চ আদালতে ২টি মামলাতেই চার্জের বিরুদ্ধে রিভিসন দাখিল করলে তা গ্রাহ্য হয়নি, কিন্তু ফৌজদারী কার্য্যবিধির ২৬৫ধারার পরিবর্তে ২৪১ধারায় চার্জ গঠন বিবেচনা করার জন্য বলা হয়। আসামীরা সবাই ২৬৫সি এর পরিবর্তে ২৪১এ মোতাবেক চার্জ থেকে অব্যাহতির আবেদন করেন এবং শুনানীও হয়। কিন্তু পূর্বে যে ২-৩মিনিটে চার্জ গঠন করা হয়, এখন আর বিচারক(তৎকালীন জেলাজজ গোলাম হোসেন) চার্জ গঠন বা অব্যাহতি প্রদান কোনটাই না করে তাহার স্টেনোকে(আলী হোসেন) লেলিয়ে দেন এবং স্টেনো হাই কোর্টের(আদি বিভাগের) জনৈক কম্প্যুটার অপারেটরকে(মোকাদ্দেস, মোবাঃ-০১৭১১-০৬৮২০৫) দেখিয়ে দেন, যার মাধ্যমে বিচারক ঘুষ খান।

ঘুষ পেতে ব্যর্থ হয়ে বিচারক চার্জ গঠন কয়েক মাস ঝুলিয়ে রাখেন এবং বদলী হয়ে যান। ফলে ৩০/০১/২০১২ইং তাং পরবর্তী বিচারক কর্তৃক ২-৩মিনিটের মধ্যে  চার্জ গঠন করার পূর্ব পর্যন্ত মামলা ২টি ঝুলে ছিল। ঘুষ পেতে ব্যর্থ হয়ে প্রথম বিচারক বিচারপ্রার্থীদের উপর জিঘাংসা বশতঃ কোন আদেশ না দিয়ে মামলা ঝুলিয়ে রাখেন।

২য় বিচারক(জেলাজজ সুফিয়া বেগম) ৩০/০১/২০১২ইং তাং ২-৩মিনিটের মধ্যে উপরোক্ত ২টি মামলাতেই চার্জ গঠন করেন। কিন্তু স্বাক্ষী হাজির না করিয়ে একই কায়দায় মামলা ঝুলিয়ে রাখেন।  কথিত আছে যে, দুর্নীতির মামলার আসামীরা নাকি সাধারনতঃ কোর্ট স্টাফদের সাথে যোগসাজশে মামলা ঝুলিয়ে রাখে বা বিলম্বিত/দীর্ঘায়িত করে। এ মামলা ২টির ক্ষেত্রে সম্পূর্ন বিপরীত ঘটনা ঘটতে থাকে। অর্থাৎ আসামী ও তাদের উকিলগন মনেপ্রানে চেয়েছেন এবং প্রকাশ্য আদালতে বহুবার বিচারক ও কোর্ট স্টাফদেরকে অনুরোধ করেছেন মামলা নিষ্পত্তির জন্য। কিন্তু বিচারক ও কোর্ট স্টাফরা হেন কোন নির্লজ্জ পন্থা নাই যা দ্বারা মামলা নিষ্পত্তি বিলম্বিত করে নাই। বিচারক ও কোর্ট স্টাফ কর্তৃক  মামলা নিষ্পত্তি বিলম্বিত করার যথেষ্ট কারনও আছে। শুভাকাংখীর ছলে বা ডাইরেক্ট ঘুষের প্রস্তাব, যাহাই হোকনা কেন, সেই স্টেনো কোর্টের বারান্দায় প্রকাশ্যে বলেন যে, অব্যাহতি পেলে চাকুরী ফেরৎ পাওয়াসহ বহু টাকার বেনিফিট আপনারা(আসামীরা) পাবেন, কোর্টকে ১০(দশ)লাখ টাকা দেবেননা কেন? স্টেনোসহ অন্য স্টাফরা বলে যে, বিচারক দুর্নীতিবাজ, তাই ঘুষ ছাড়া মামলা নিষ্পত্তি হবেনা। আইনগতভাবে একথাগুলো প্রমান করা যাবেনা, তবে তারা একথাগুলো বলেছে, এটা শতভাগ সত্য। মামলার নথিতে রক্ষিত রেকর্ড মোতাবেক পরবর্তীতে তাদের কথা অক্ষরে অক্ষরে প্রমানিত হয়েছে। ১৭-৪-২০১২ইং তাং সুদুর বরিশাল থেকে ঝড়-বৃষ্টির মধ্যে মামলার বাদী দুদকের উপপরিচালক আর কে মজুমদার স্বাক্ষ্য দিতে সিলেটে আসলেও বিচারকের হাতে প্রচুর সময় থাকা সত্বেও শুধুমাত্র "annexure" প্রদর্শন করা নাই, এই অজুহাতে স্বাক্ষীকে ফিরিয়ে দেয়। যদিও সকল "annexure" মামলার নথিতে ছিল, শুধু  প্রদর্শনী ১,২, …. এভাবে আর্জী-চার্জশীটে দেখানো ছিলনা। দুদকের উপপরিচালক বলেন যে, ১০মিনিটের মধ্যে  তিনি ঠিক করে আনিতেছেন এবং পিপি মুশাহিদ আলীর কক্ষে বসে তিনি তা করেন। কিন্তু বিচারক আবার বলেন যে, আপনি(দুদকের উপপরিচালক) আজ থেকে যান, কালকে শুনানী হবে। কিন্তু বিচারক আবার বলেন যে, পরের তারিখে শুনানী হবে। এদিন আসামী পক্ষের উকিলগন, সর্বজনাব আবদুল খালিক(মোবাঃ-০১৭১২-৪৫১০০০), নুমান মাহমুদ(মোবাঃ-০১৭১১-১৫৬৭৭০), দুদকের পিপি আইভি(মোবাঃ-০১৭১২-১৯৪৬১২), যাঁরা বারের সিনিয়র ও মান্যগন্য আইনজীবি, তারাও বিচারককে বহু অনুরোধ করেন যে, এতদুর থেকে আসা স্বাক্ষীকে ফিরিয়ে না দেয়ার জন্য। কিন্তু বিচারক এত তুচ্ছ অজুহাতে বরিশাল থেকে সিলেটে আসা, সরকারের গুরুত্বপূর্ন কাজে নিয়োজিত, সরকারী বিপুল অর্থ ও সময় ব্যয় করে আসা, দুদকের উপপরিচালককে ফিরিয়ে দেন এবং দীর্ঘ কয়েকমাস আর তাকে হাজির করানো হয়নি। মানসিকভাবে সুস্থ কোন বিচারক এটা করতে পারেননা। এরপর আর কোন গুরুত্বপূর্ন স্বাক্ষীই হাজির করানো হয়নি। পূর্বের স্টেনোর মাধ্যমে ৭লাখ টাকার বিনিময়ে ৩মাসে মামলা শেষ করে দিবে এই শর্তে ২৬-৯-২০১২ইং একই তারিখে চট্টগ্রাম, খুলনা, সাতক্ষীরা, কুষ্টিয়া, গাজীপুর, প্রভৃতি যায়গা থেকে পিডিবির চাকুরীরত, অবসরপ্রাপ্ত, প্রধান প্রকৌশলী, তত্বাবধায়ক প্রকৌশলীসহ ৮জন স্বাক্ষী হাজির করে ও তাদের স্বাক্ষ্য নেয়। কিন্তু আসামীরা এত টাকা ঘুষ দিতে রাজী না হওয়ায় বিচারক উপরোক্ত সিনিয়র আইনজীবিদের সামনে নিজ হাতে ৫(পাঁচ)মাসের ব্যবধানে পরবর্তী তারিখ ফেলেই ক্ষান্ত হননি, পরে আর এক বছর কোন স্বাক্ষীই হাজির করেনি। ৫(পাঁচ)মাসের ব্যবধানের তারিখের পূর্ববর্তী/পরবর্তী তারিখ সমুহ ২০দিন থেকে সর্বোচ্চ ৪৫দিনের ব্যবধানে ছিল। ঘুষ না দেওয়ার কারনে বিচারপ্রার্থীদের উপর ক্ষুব্ধ হওয়ার বহিঃপ্রকাশ হিসাবে বিচারক ৫(পাঁচ)মাসের ব্যবধানে পরবর্তী তারিখ ফেলে।

৩য় বিচারক(জেলাজজ মইদুল ইসলাম) ২০১৪সালের ফেব্রুয়ারীতে মামলা শুরু করেন এবং ১৫মাসেও বিচারকাজ শেষ করেননি। অথচ তিনি যেভাবে শুরু করেছিলেন সেভাবে অব্যাহত রাখলে সর্বোচ্চ ৩-৪মাস তথা ২০১৪সালের জুন-জুলাইতে মামলা ২টি নিষ্পত্তি হয়ে যেত। ৪র্থ বিচারক(জেলাজজ মফিজুর রহমান ভূঞা), যিনি একজন তবলীগি পরহেজগার, তিনি ২০১৫সালের ৩০শে আগস্ট ২১/০৯ ও ০৬ই অক্টোবর ২৩/০৯ মামলার স্বাক্ষী সমাপ্ত ঘোষনা করেন। ইনিও যেভাবে শুরু করেছিলেন সেভাবে অব্যাহত রাখলে সর্বোচ্চ ৩-৪মাস তথা ২০১৬সালের জানুয়ারী-ফেব্রুয়ারীতে মামলা ২টি নিষ্পত্তি হয়ে যেত। কিন্তু তিনি(৪র্থ বিচারক) পরবর্তী ১৪-১৫মাস কোন আর্গুমেন্ট শুনানী করেননি এবং স্বাক্ষী সমাপ্তির ১৬-১৭মাসেও মামলা ২টি নিষ্পত্তি করেননি। ৪র্থ বিচারক ১৬-১৭মাসেও যা করেননি, ৫ম বিচারক(জেলাজজ ফাহমিদা কাদের) ৪০-৪৫দিনেই তা করেছেন, অর্থাৎ মামলা ২টি নিষ্পত্তি করেছেন।

ইতিমধ্যে আমরা বহু রিপোর্টের মাধ্যমে দেখিয়েছি যে, এবং প্রিন্ট ও ইলেক্ট্রনিক মিডিয়ায় দেখেছি যে, নিম্ন আদালতের বিচারকদের খুব কম সময় এজলাস করা, বৃহস্পতি-রবিবার এজলাস না করা, কেস ম্যানেজমেন্ট-কোর্ট ম্যানেজমেন্ট-এ দুর্বলতা, বিচারকদের তোলা খাওয়া, ইত্যাদি বিষয়ে সাবেক ও বর্তমান  মাননীয় প্রধানবিচারপতিগন প্রকাশ্যে বহুবার ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করেছেন। ১ম ৪জন জেলাজজ যা করেছেন, তা simply corruption. এটা তারা প্রকাশ্য দিবালোকে আইনজীবিসহ হাজার হাজার লোকের সামনে করেছেন। কিন্তু তারপরও তাদের কোন শাস্তি নেই, জেল জরিমানাতো দুরের কথা।

নিম্ন আদালতের বিচারকরা অতি উচ্চ মর্যাদার আসনে আসীন হয়েও দিনের পর দিন, মাসের পর মাস, বছরের পর বছর প্রকাশ্য দিবালোকে অনিয়ম দুর্নীতি করে যাচ্ছে এবং সেজন্য কোন প্রতিকারমূলক ব্যবস্থা নেয়া যাচ্ছেনা। তার একমাত্র কারন তাদের নিয়ন্ত্রন ও জবাবদিহিতার অভাব। আর আইন বা নিম্ন আদালতের বিচারকদের আচরনবিধির অভাবের কারনে তাদেরকে (নিম্ন আদালতের বিচারক) নিয়ন্ত্রন ও জবাবদিহিতার আওতায় আনা যাচ্ছেনা বলে  তারা লাগামহীন অনিয়ম দুর্নীতি করে যাচ্ছে।

জেলাজজ পদমর্যাদার, যাদেরকে সচিবের মর্যাদা দেওয়া হয়েছে, যাদের প্রায় পুরোপুরি লজিস্টিক সাপোর্ট ছিল এবং আছে, সেরূপ  নিম্ন আদালতের ৫জন বিচারকের কার্য্যক্রমের বাস্তব উদাহরন, যাদের ৫ম জনের কার্য্যক্রম দ্বারা ১ম ৪(চার)জনের দুর্নীতি প্রমানিত হয় এবং এসকল তথ্য ছাড়াও অনিয়ম সংক্রান্ত আরো তথ্য মামলার নথিতে আছে বিধায় উপরের মামলা ২টির উদাহরন দেওয়া হয়েছে। নিম্ন আদালতের বিচারকদের অনিয়ম দুর্নীতি এ ২টিতেই সীমাবদ্ধ নহে। শুধু তথ্য নহে অংকের মাধ্যমে আমরা হিসাব করে দেখিয়েছি যে, এরা কত ভয়ানক নির্মম নিষ্ঠুর দুর্নীতিবাজ।

দেশের স্বার্থে, দেশের জনগনের স্বার্থেই  নিম্ন আদালতের বিচারকদের আচরনবিধির গেজেট প্রকাশ করা প্রয়োজন।

No, that man was a monster of worst kinds. He polluted the water and that is why Hindus/Budhists started to see Muslim rule was no good for them. Besides, why would indigenous people bend their backs to accommodate the invaders? Indians needed bosses? What quality did they really possess except rotten ideology of desert. How could a Muslim man donate a property that did not even belong to him to begin with? It is like white Americans giving land to red-Indians as benevolent charity?
Did not Muslims throw out Jews from Mecca and Medina? By God's order , I suppose? Muslim charity in the 7th century? How many minorities were thrown out from Pakistan and Bangladesh since 1947? Happening right in the current century! Who these people are fooling around?

মন্দিরের জমিদাতাদের নাম।
এখন অরুণাভ, পঙ্কজ, বাপির সঙ্গে মন্দির প্রাঙ্গণ সাফসুতরো রাখেন হাবিব, নাসির, আব্দুসরা। প্রতি পৌষে মহামায়ার পুজো উপলক্ষে মন্দির চত্বরের বিঘা দশেক এলাকায় মেলা বসে। মেলা কমিটির যুগ্ম সম্পাদক আমিরুল ইসলাম ও বাপি ঘোষ একযোগে বলছেন, ''পুজোয়, ইদে, মহরমে, বিয়ে-শ্রাদ্ধে এই তল্লাটের হিন্দু, মুসলমান ও সাঁওতালেরা এক সঙ্গে আনন্দ করেন।''
জগদ্ধাত্রী পুজোর সময়ে ভোগ রান্নাই হয় না জবর শেখ, রাজেশ শেখ, মতি শেখ, চিমু শেখ, আমিরুল ইসলাম, সাদেক মণ্ডলদের দান করা চাল, মুগ ডাল, তেল-মশলা ছাড়া। জমিদাতা হাবিব শেখ বলেন, ''আমার দেওয়া পেল্লায় রুই, কাতলা আর শোল মাছ ছাড়া নবমী-দশমীর ভোগই হয় না!''
সহাবস্থানের এই ইতিহাস কিন্তু আজকের নয়। ১২০ বছর আগে প্রকাশিত 'মুর্শিদাবাদ কাহিনী' গ্রন্থে নিখিলনাথ রায় লিখেছেন, ''নবাব মীরজাফর খাঁ তাঁহার প্রিয় ও বিশ্বাসী মন্ত্রী মহারাজা নন্দকুমারের অনুরোধে অন্তিম সময়ে কিরীটেশ্বরীর চরণামৃত পান করিয়া চিরদিনের জন্য নয়ন মুদ্রিত করিয়াছিলেন।''
মন্দিরের কাছেই এ দিন গোল হয়ে বসে আড্ডা দিচ্ছিলেন সিরাজুল, হাবিব, বাপিরা। বসিরহাটের ঘটনা শুনেছেন তো? কথাটা তোলা মাত্র হইহই করে ওঠেন সকলে— ''এটা মানুষের কাজ নাকি? বিচারবুদ্ধিহীন কেউ যদি একটা বাজে কাজ করেও, তার জন্য সকলে মারামারি-কাটাকাটি করতে হবে? আমরা তো ভাই ভাবতেই পারি না!''

তাইন বড়ো ফোরহেজগার আসলায়, মক্কা শরিফও গিয়া হজ কোর্সিন, ফাস ওয়াক্ত নামাজ ফোরতায় রবীন্দ্রনাথ টাখুর!
তাইন আবার আমরার তাহেরউদ্দিন টাখুরের ফুফার ঘরের ফুয়া!  শুনে দর্শকরা প্রায় অজ্ঞান।
আর সাংসদ ভাবলেন রবী টাখুর সম্পর্কে তিনি যে ভাষণ দিলেন, জনগন স্তম্ভিত হয়ে শুনছিল পিনপতন নিঃস্তব্ধতায়। নিজেকে নিজেই ধন্যবাদ দিলেন একাধিকবার।।

Zafar Wazed writes << সাতই মার্চের ভাষণে বঙ্গবন্ধু উল্লেখ করেছিলেন, 'আমি প্রধানমন্ত্রিত্ব চাই না, আমি চাই বাংলার মানুষের মুক্তি।' এই ভাষ্যকে বিদ্রূপ করে ফরহাদ কবিতা লিখলেন, 'আমি প্রধানমন্ত্রিত্ব চাই না, আমি বুড়ো আংলা।' কবিতাটি তার প্রথম কাব্যগ্রন্থ 'খোকন ও তার প্রতিপুরুষ'-এর প্রথমেই ঠাঁই পেয়েছে। তিনি দেশ ছেড়ে পালানোর পর ১৯৭৪ সালে বর্ণবীথি নামে প্রকাশনী সংস্থা গ্রন্থটি প্রকাশ করেছিল। বঙ্গবন্ধুর সরকার যেহেতু মতপ্রকাশের স্বাধীনতার বিশ্বাসী ছিল, তাই কবিতাটি সম্পর্কে কোন উচ্চবাচ্য করা হয়নি, গ্রন্থ নিষিদ্ধ দূরে থাক। স্বাধীনতার পর ফরহাদ নাটক লিখলেন 'প্রজাপতির লীলালাস্য'। মহিলা সমিতির মঞ্চে 'বহুবচন নাট্যগোষ্ঠী'-এর মঞ্চায়ন করে। স্বাধীনতা পরবর্তী সরকার ও তার কার্যক্রমকে ব্যঙ্গ-বিদ্রূপ করে রচিত নাটকটি ছিল প্রতীকীধর্মী। বঙ্গবন্ধু সরকার নাটকটি মঞ্চায়নের ক্ষেত্রে কোন বাধা-বিঘ্ন তৈরি করেনি। - See more at:
