Re: [mukto-mona] Re: Tagore's philosophical views and quantum mechanics

Art and Literature are beyond materialistic logics, but, I was so impressed by how these two giants found a common ground to meet and discuss these two diverse subjects. It is a very instructive conversation, and not intended to be a debate. So, it will not be appropriate to look at it from the point of view of winning or losing.

Beauty is rather a subjective quality and can't be measured by any objective methods or instruments. Objects do exist in the universe independent of us, living organisms. The quality, beauty is just a pure perceptional product of our minds that is nothing but an elaborate neuronal connections of our brains. Tagore's arguments are interesting but can't be proven  or quantified by any of the existing methods then or now. It was a great meeting of two giants but Einstein had prevailed with his very sharp materialistic logic.
