Brother Zubair, Passed way yesterday (09/24/2008) around 7:09 PM in Richardson Regional Hospital. Please pray for his departed soul. Please extend your helping hands, by making dua, spreading the words, participating in the funeral.
Tomorrow is "Jumma-tul Bida" and night of "Lailatul Qadr : The Night of Power", So, Jumma prayer will be little longer. Please plan ahead. Be there early.

"It is a great sadness to inform you that our friend Mohammed Zubair has passed way yesterday evening, Wednesday September 24, around 7 PM. He was suffering from complication relating to pulmonary fibrosis. May almighty Allah place him in " Jannat". Our thoughts and prayers go out to his departed soul. Our deepest condolence and prayers for his family and loved ones.
Mohammed Zubair was well known for his active involvement in various arts, cultural and literary activities both in Bangladesh and USA. He was also a poet and wrote many critically acclaimed poems, and articles that were published in many periodicals and magazines including " Bangladesh Observer', "Dainik Bangla" and "Jugantor Patrika". He was a regular columnist " Jugantor" writing from Dallas. Mohammed Zubair also helped ABAC materializing its literary goals in many ways including editing magazines published by ABAC during various cultural events and conventions. He was always helpful and supportive of all Bangla programs in our community. Most importantly, he was an honorable man, very friendly, a down to earth type person with great sense of humor. We all miss him terribly."
