When Sheikh Hasina was assured to become the next PM as part of an easy exit plan of the current CTG, she returned home very happily and declared that she would condone the illegal actions of the current CTG and approve all its promulgated laws, promulgations and actions. She enthusiastically accepted the election schedule declared to be held on December 18. Although earlier she was so vocal against the emergency, this time such suffocating measures against politicians like the continuity of emergency rule during election and the unbridled sweeping power of the CEC against poll candidates didn't bother her at all since assumedly these adverse measures were warranted to ensure her embarking on power at a shuttering detriment of the Four Party Alliance. That is the reason that while the 4 Party Alliance vowed not to participate in the election as scheduled on December 18 unless and until few demands were met including lifting of emergency and curtailing the drastic power of the CEC, Sheikh Hasina were adamant in favor of election only on December 18 to the exclusion of the 4 Party Alliance if necessary.
Now that after so much of drama has been orchestrated by the CTG to exclude the 4 Party Alliance from participating in the election, the CTG and CEC were left with no further drama to choreograph against the unfaltering demands of the 4 Party Alliance and the growing public sentiment to reschedule the election and accept other demands before a free and fair election could be ensured. As such, the election has been finally rescheduled on December 29 to accommodate all major contenders, i.e. the Great Alliance and the 4 Party Alliance. With this in the scenario the assurance for Sheikh Hasina to become the next PM has become weaker and subject to challenge. Therefore, she is now predicting conspiracies and rigging in the election so as to reserve a bullet (denunciation of the outcome of election results with allegation of insurmountable conspiracies and rigging) in her gun to be shot immediately after the results of are declared in case her alliance would face a defeat.
