Critical thinking is a part of faith. God's wisdom in annotated in 'shahadah' - "There is no God, but God". I am not sure Moududi criticized any Shahabi or not, but, he had a different view with some Shahabi's thoughts, and there is nothing wrong! Muaybiya was also a Shahabi, but, honestly, do you agree with all his actions? Your lame cause, that Prophet was seeking spiritual guidance for 34 years, I agree on that, but, that was before he received his prophet-hood. Later, there were many edicts from Allah for actions on our lifestyle, like dress code, morality, monetary system, justice system etc. Faith is more enumerated that just doing yoga. There are spiritual systems including 'imaan', there are ritual things including paying 'Zakah', and there combination of spiritual & ritual rights in prayer - 'Salah'. Musa Sarkar, you are misguiding people with your fickle knowledge of Islam. Before parroting any innuendo, get your horizon broad or refrain from falsification. --- On Sat, 4/4/09, musasarkar <m_musa92870@yahoo.com> wrote:
