General Moeen U Ahmed acted in the same way in 2007 as General Syed Mir Mohammad Jafar Ali Khan handed over Sube Bangla (Bengal, Bihar and Orissa - Bengal then included part of Assam) to the British in 1757, 250 years ago, which was an appropriate historical parallel to point out at the meeting on Polashi day.
