Rally for Kevin Kim for
Competitive City Council Race
U.S. Senator Charles Schumer and Democratic City Comptroller Nominee John Liu will lead a "Get Out the Vote" rally for Democratic City Council candidate Kevin Kim at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center in Northeast Queens on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m.
After the rally, volunteers will fan out across the mall and hand out literature to Sunday shoppers.
The rally is being held in memory of Al Cahn, a local community activist who campaigned for Democrats well into his 90s and passed away earlier this week.
The race is considered to be one of the most competitive ones in the city.
Council District 19 includes the Northeast Queens neighborhoods of Bayside, Auburndale, College Point, Douglaston, Little Neck, Malba and Whitestone, among others.
