[ALOCHONA] Re: India honours Sheikh Hasina with Indira Peace Prize

It's a reward for believing that India has the best interests of the region at heart. By being the strongest ally of India in the region, Bangladesh has clearly demonstrated it's liberal, independent and advanced thinking. Bangladesh hopes that all countries in the region will cooperate with India like it has done. A region in which every country believes thats its own interests are best served if India's interests are served is a progressive thinking region.

It's a reward for having a foreign policy that is firstly defined by the governing principle that "India'r shatheh parah jabe na". By having this approach, Bangladesh wastes little of the precious time of India's Ministers.

Its a reward for not creating trouble at the border and allowing India's mafia to carry on a smuggling business that accounts for most of the black economy of Bangladesh. Parliament respects the talent and free enterprise of the Indian mafia.

Its a reward for not complaining too much when the BSF shoots some Bangladeshis. Hasina is magnaminous as she returns back to Dhaka with the prize and remains silent the next day when some of her fellow citizens are shot dead at the border.

Its a reward for deciding within seconds that India, at state level of otherwise, could not possibly have any hand whatsoever in the BDR massacre of 25/2/09. Such political acumen is hard to come by and demonstrates a commitment to peace at any cost.

Its a reward for accepting a border fence built by Burma and India all around Bangladesh. After all, keeping all Bangladeshis in Bangladesh contributes to peace.
