Shahid Zia is not only the Shadhinatar Ghoshok, 1^st president but also the greatest leader of Bangladesh so far.

 

I would like to remember that in normal political movement a leader of a party or even a district president or Thana president or even a Union president is very much powerful but in war like situation they are almost power-less. Let us remember how powerful the Notoriuos Moeen (Only the rank of a minister) Gong or a normal army officer (a captain, or a army personnel) was during last illegal emergency government. The Chief of BNP & BAL, the former & present prime ministers, opposition leaders were harassed by Notoriuos Moyeen Gong. Not only that according to Sk Hasina, Moyeen gong had tried to kill her by slow poisoning!!!

 

AK Khan, Gen Shafiulla, Major Rafiq, Subid Ali Buiya had rightly pointed out that how powerful the Sahdhinatar Ghoshona of Shahid Zia was.

 

We should also remember that nobody (Vasani, Mujib, Zia or anybody) is essential to make history. In 1971 our great leader then Bangobandhu Sk Mujibur Rahman (later in 1975 became feroun, according to then BAL leader & Speaker MA Malek) was untraced about few months but the Liberation war had been running and finally Bangladesh became independent.

I am not sure that why you are going to provide message in this way (through mail). As I understand that all you are very learned persons.  But as a citizen of bangladesh we have to read some evidence because we need to learn the correct and authantic information. Pls let us know the date of  Ziaur Rahman read out the speech and also inform that Ziaur Rahman said in his speech that "on behalf of our great leader Bangabandhu Sk Mujibur Rahman". Why not you inform our next zeneration the authantic and full information? ??.

I am not political person but I was in chittagong and saw Pakistan army taking over the city with out much Resistance. At that time we almost lost the  hope but it was the voice of Ziaur Rahman that bought back the hope and spirit of fighting back. It doesn't matter for who stood up against all odd, whether we call him "Shadhinatar Ghoshak" or not. We know about his patriotism.
