He is one of the more fantastic examples of the effects of Deshi politics. There is no one at the helm of his entire party who could discuss Islam and modernity for more than 5 minutes but they won't hesitate to generalise about Islamic organisations.
They are outraged if an American Islamic organisation condemns human rights violations in Bangladesh today - because these activists turn a blind eye to any such violations when their own party is in power. It is the same for both AL and BNP.
You know there are rumours of Chinese, Jews and Indians trying to take over America... not far behind are a bunch of AL extremists who think Americans should follow the life and teachings of Sheikh Mujib. Sadly for them, happily for us, none of their kids give a rats ass about Daddy's weird politics.
