Reading from few news outlet, I used to think becoming a columnist is an honourable profession, often dreamt as such. Than thought those communists or nationalists are great human being. Late 70s what was prolific, hounarable and ideal, within only two decades emerged as hoax, those individuals fully abandoned their preached philosophies and practices.
Two bureaucrats, one was noisy mainly against foreign consultants, other was on the reform of bureaucracy. Both of them are living, but their integrity, much sung ideals today only serves their new masters.
Those secretaries we see spreading lot of ideals after their retirement, who could not clinch a post-retirement reward and those managed to get on with something, proved to be fake, sold out demon, at their twilight years.
In their much coveted new positions, they act more like a clown, who even fails to crack jokes or laughter but belittle themselves miserably all along. A human being who worked in the highest positions of the bureaucracy for decades in his whole life, at the fag end of his/her life submits to anything for a little!
They often appear with paijama, Panjabi, tupi, dari but all their actions make mockery of their outlook. Those few who appears with different or smart outfit goes even few steps further demonizing their human characteristics and integrity with their actions. They are ready to act in anything for their trivial mundane gains.
Nation, professions and values suffers in their sacrilege.
What is wrong with this nation, what is wrong with our education and training and cultural fit? Why can't we find at least a handful of dynamic and intelligent human out of hundred and sixty million strong Bani Adam!
What is wrong with the air we breathe, food we eat from this land.
How can men at their early seventy, supposedly made their first million long ago and got their children settle down and already received their last millions, can go on their knees to please, speak nonsense and nuisance to appease their new found bosses.
Latest proof is Mr. Matin, moment he was bashed by another demon - who let loose his subjects in the education campus to molester and rape hundred fellow students and celebrates, had he possessed a little of human honor and dignity, kicked off the job and stand on his feet. Knowing well that here on ward he might get fired or on fire with every possible humiliation.
Today's prevailing culture only capable of producing unwanted and unlawful practices as it takes it root in greed and profiteering.
