[ALOCHONA] Re: Dr Abul Barakat or Dr Atiur Rahman do not write on these anymore

Please. This is Bangladesh and we are talking Bangladeshi politics. Nothing has changed in our politics. You can take it for granted that these gentlemen are indeed gentlemen with good souls and noble intent. You can also take it for granted that they have been forced to make insulting compromises by politcians.

After all, these same gentlemen, and all like them, would surely have spoken out against injustice, corruption and anti democratic practice if they had emigrated to any other country. But in Bangladesh, they have to keep their mouths shut.

The politicians who wield the real power have ruined many a good man.
