These cattle were brought from Pabna and Sirajganj yesterday. A livestock official told The Daily Star four doctors have been manned at a checkpoint on the other side of Bangabandhu Bridge to prevent entrance of anthrax infected cattle. The driver of the truck said no checkpoint stopped them on their way to the city. The photo was taken at the capital's Gabtali Cattle Market yesterday afternoon
