If you refer back to the Daily papers of 1971 time, you will find that 66 elected MNA & MPA of 1970 election did came out publicly with statement supporting Yahya Khan's actions and Pakistan's integrity. Many of them are still alive and active in politics with Dr. Hasina.

The people who you refer to should have stepped aside from the Jamaat leadership a long time ago. Just like the typical political leaders of Bangladesh they stayed and stayed and stayed. Even if they were innocent, even if they did no harm since 1971 - still they should have left their posts for the sake of their party and for the sake of peace in Bangladesh.

They deserve some punishment at least for being so power hungry.

And fair courts will prove whether they killed or not in 1971.

Where did you get the references to the 66 AL leaders?

In fact it would be helpful to get a detailed account of all the AL members during 1971 up to the asssasination of Mujib.
