Advocate Shamsul Hoque Tuku, the Hon'ble state minister for Home Affairs , Peoples Republic of Bangladesh was born on 31st May 1948 in the village Brishalikha under Bera police station of Pabna District. He is the third son in the family of Late Juran Uddin Sarder and Late Rahima Khatun.
Shamsul Hoque Tuku is a law-abiding Bangladeshi citizen by birth bearing the national ID card number : 7625503129657 and religiously his belief in Islam.
He got married with highly educated woman professor Lutfunnessa Begum on 16 August 1974. He has three well qualified sons who are currently living abroad. His first son advocate S M Asif Shams lives in the UK for higher education, second son S M Saif Shams who is a teacher of Sylhet Shah Jalal Science and Technology University, currently he is staying in Norway to acquire his Ph.D and his youngest son S M Nasif Shams is also doing Ph.D in Dublin city university, Ireland.
Academically Advocate Shamsul Hoque Tuku maintained very successfull profile. Consequently he secured his B.com(Hon's) M.com and MA, LLB from well recognized
Politically Shamsul Hoque Tuku has been very fantastic performances. He elected as the Member of Parliament in the 9th Parliamentary election 2008.
