[ALOCHONA] Re: [Dahuk]: 10-taka rice : Not promised ?

Friends

In the West they follow rules of business and truth has to be the main act of their politicians and in the event of any violation they(politicians) are punished severely  and at time costing them their political career for good. But Bangladesh n other 3rd world countries the politicians are the Law n the Law fears them n cannot touch their(Keshagro) entity.

There are thousands of examples in the past two years of democratic(Democrazy) rule nor of the ruling party violators are booked for rape/Murder( Shaon MP/Zakir of Natore etc etc )loot/arson/tender chitai/beating govt. officials. But the funny thing is that the victims are infact punished since they are accused of trying to malign the sanctitity ??????) of the holy politicians !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Britain, if an MP makes a false statement in the Parliament, they can be sued and charged for contempt of the Parliament and can be forced to resign. Also, If a Minister or the PM is found to be misleading the Parliament or making a false statement, the can be forced to resign. That is what democracy is about.

I wonder whether such democratic action is possible in Bangladesh. It is clear beyond any reasonable doubt that Hasina knowingly and blatantly lied in the Parliament. She should be charged and forced to resign.

BNP and Jamaat Oikko Jot should start a mass movement for Hasina's resignation for lying to the Parliament. If the PM of the country can lie to the Parliament, how can she be trusted to lead the country ?

Can anyone enlighten me whether any action against Hasina is possible in BD for such unprecedented lie ?

Wassalam
