Dear alochok, from small experience of my life i have learned that where we stay, how much we study, doesn't matter until we get to learn and to creat a sponteneous response from our behavior To respect others Opinion,as well as to become watching others success. we have seen in our societ that most of the corrupted people try to establish their name by naming school ,madrasa, even mosque name etc on their name. end of the days people remember their name with all activities. even hatred increase much more. So names remain on personal work, right or wrong, history will justify, today, tomorrow, may be hundred years after, doesn't matter. Like Indians, now they are realising that they have got a great culture from Mughal empire. British occupied power from Mughal.. by making so many propaganda.. But still History call them great Mughal empire. So nobody can establish anyone else or wipe out .. by changing name. Respect comes from heart. If someone else showing extra respect that means some benifit is there. Sultan

I agree although the Buriganga with its effluence and waste may be the most appropriate choice. I also propose that "Bismillah..." be removed from the constitution and replaced with "bismilbangabandu.....". To seal the deal, all references to the Prophet should be removed from a new and official BAL version of the Quran as neither he nor the Almighty had any contribution to the glorious independence war, you know the Bangabandhu v Pakistan war where one man single handedly defeated an entire army. In order to pay our indebtedness to Father of the Nation, Bangabondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman I propose to change the name of Dhaka to "Mujib Nagar" and "Bay of Bengal" to "Bay of Bangabondhu". Any comments from the Alochoks? SH Toronto
