IT IS NOT ONLY YUNUS STUPID!

It is the Grameen Bank and Grameen Phone.

Have not you seen the Air Tel take over of Warid, how the deal was done and how Air Tel is serviced by the Government's whole machinery and the regulatory authority?

Who is going to be the next Chairman or MD of the GB?

Wake up!

Dhaka, Apr 6 (UNB) - US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian
Affairs Robert O Blake warned that failure to find a compromise that respects Dr
Yunus' global stature and maintains the integrity and effectiveness of Grameen
Bank "could affect our bilateral relations."

Blake made the remark on Tuesday in his testimony before the House Foreign
Affairs Committee in Washington.

Referring to his visit to Bangladesh and meeting with the government over Prof
Yunus affair, he said the Bangladesh government and Dr Yunus have become
embroiled in a struggle for control of Grameen Bank, which has implications for
the health of Bangladesh's civil society.
