[ALOCHONA] Germaine Greer on 1971 Atrocities

Just last week on the BBC's Question Time programme, renowned feminist Germaine Greer was speaking about the recent allegations of systematic rape in Libya. She questioned the evidence and validity of the claim saying that systematic rape is very often overstated in war - there have been many examples. She in fact cited specifically the allegation that 300,000 women were systematically raped during the 1971 war and said the claim was found to be greatly exaggerated.

For the narrow minded sycophants and intellectual lightweights so that you are clear: she did not say rape did not occur, she did not say rape was acceptable, she simply said that the number was overstated.

Do with this information as you will but at the very least, can we expect the local chapters of BAL and BNP to declare a hartal in the UK? A protest from the High Commissioner? Of course none of them would be aware as Question Time would be above their heads.

I'm looking forward to Germaine wrestling with these amoeba.
