Blood & Freedom are twine brothers

Mohammad Zainal Abedin

Blood for independence never dies, rather it resurrects over and over again, as it (blood) is the pre-condition of independence. The Kashmir people are establishing this truth. The blood that India sucks in Kashmir will lead Kashmir to independence. The way the Kashmiri children defied Indian bullets unveils on reality that India will never be able to subdue their demand for independence using its military might. Their martyrdom uncovers how cruelly the so-called largest democracy in the world, vainly tries to keep other's territory under its occupation. India has been committing this crime for the last 63 years (1948-2011).

I would urge the Western democracies, including UNO, not to remain mum. To end this bloodshed UNO should implement its resolutions on Kashmir that Indians committed repeatedly to hold plebiscite in Kashmir under UN supervision. Let the Kashmir people decide whether they prefer to remain with India or not. International Community cannot retreat from UNO resolutions on Kashmir.

International community, particularly the human rights activists, journalists, intellectuals, and obviously, the Western World should not play the role of silent spectators; rather they should take the side the Kashmir people, at least for humanitarian reason. Their struggle for independence cannot be portrayed as terrorism. Branding the Kashmiri people as terrorists, India undermines the Liberation Wars of Bangladesh, America, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and other countries that attained their independence through armed strugglees. None can accept Indian version of terrorism. India is to leave Kashmir. End of Indian occupation in Kashmir is the lone prescription to restore peace in the region.

Please have your eyes on the following pictures and ask your conscience whether the civilized world should allow India to commit and continue such crime. Shouldn't we raise the voice for the Kashmiri people? Shouldn't the Indian leaders be tried for committing crimes against humanity?

The following pictures(attached) pained me so much to make the above instant comments.
