Re: [mukto-mona] Funds to fuel Islamophobia

None of these so called monotheistic religions have a commendable record of toleration.  Steps should be taken for their moderation.

This article talks about spreading Islamophobia in the USA by some people, who I have listened to many times in the past. I heard them talking about the spread of radical-Islam, the so called Wahabi Islam, in the USA by some radical Imams in the mosque, religious institutions, and Jail-houses. Therefore, I would agree that these people are spreading radical-islamophobia, but not islamophobia. There is a gulf of difference between these two phenomena. Even majority Muslims in the USA will, probably, agree that there is a legitimate fear of Wahabi Islam being spread in the West. This article purposefully misguided the fear to cover up the real fear.

Now-a-days, it is almost impossible to find a true story from the reported story by the media. We have to dissect it to understand it. How many people can do that? I am sure - many will just run with the headline, which is the motive behind this article.

One of the comments after the article above:

God is no excuse for killing, but neither is economic exploitation of the masses on the basis of the idea of economic superiority. Maybe some people hate other people and will use religion, economics, political thought, arrogance, whatever to rationalize their behavior toward them... religion is just another victim of the people who abuse it.

Extremism apparently begets extremism except for those of us who prefer emigration.
