Awami League has Khaleda Zia has been in the pocket of Pakistani from before the independence of Bangladesh and she is the leader of a major political party in Bangladesh. What a shame! Ziaur Rahman is probably laughing in his grave at the stupidity of the people of Bangladesh. Ziaur Rahman was a pure nationalist leader. Unfortunately, Khaleda Zia is a pure agent of Pakistan. I still remember her statements after the 2001 pogrom against religious minority communities and Awami League. While all those carnages were going on she, as PM, appeared on national TV and said, "Perfect communal harmony exists in Bangladesh; these are concocted media propaganda against my party." She was, in essence, signaling to her cadres to go ahead and do, without impunity, whatever you have been doing. That's a Pakistani style of politics, which she has inherited. She has been using it even today, as we have witnessed recently in Chittagong. Unfortunately, Awami League government remained as bystander to score political points. That's another story. I remember, around the same time in 2001, another communal disaster occurred in Orissa, in which thousands of Muslims got affected. India was under the BJP rule at that time, and Atal Bihari Vaspai, PM of India, came to the national TV, and said – "This is a dark day, and it is a national disgrace for India." That's a real leader, not an imposter leader, like Khaleda Zia; BNP will be better off without her. Jite Roy

The issue of discussion is not Hasina , it is Khaleda Zia . I hope you wont shift away from the main issue and mislead people. The former Chief of ISI himself admitted in the court ( NOT in police interrogation) that he had given money to Khaleda Zia. Do you think ISI is working under the guidance of RAW ? It is neither the Economist nor the Khaleej Times , I am talking about . I am talking about the court confession by the ISI Chief . Let us wait for any former RAW Chief to admit that they bribed Hasina . Until then let us focus on our opposition leader who champions herself as the uncompromising nationalist leader .
