Democratic Left Alliance and other leftists, Oil-gas Committee, etc. show black flags to Hillary-Pranab, hold demonstrations, burn effigies and urge patriots to unite and safeguard independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh!

They demanded that the people be informed of the treaties the Govt signed with India and the US. They said that the joint conspiracy of India-Israel-US axis has been trying to snatch our sovereignty in the name of trade-investment and strategic partnership. They urged people to unite and build resistance against India-US aggression in the politics and economics of BD.

The most interesting thing here is the strategic coordination that takes place between Washington and New Delhi in relation to Bangladesh.

One curious feature of the US-Bangladesh exchanges is that almost all US officials are making it a point to come to Dhaka via New Delhi or to make their return journey to Washington via New Delhi. Evidently, it is not a mere matter of logistics.

The pattern shows an appreciable degree of strategic coordination taking place between Washington and New Delhi in relation to Bangladesh:
