| This spontaneous uprising is very inspiring; I hope, participants will maintain peaceful resolve and outpouring support for the cause, as occurred during pre-independence movement (6-point demands). Violence will change the course of the movement. Jamat/Shibir again is on the wrong side of the history. I am unable to understand why they cannot isolate criminality from ideology. Awami League is also doing the same; perpetrators of Biswajit-murder are not brought to justice yet. They often shelter criminal elements in the party and tarnish party image and ideology. It seems like - party loyalty is more important than the image of the party; they go out of the way to defend criminals among them. Jamat-Shibir supported Pakistan during the liberation war; that's not a crime, in my judgment. There were two choices in front of the people during the liberation movement, and some people chose the wrong one by supporting Pakistan. That's not difficult to accept. But, Jamat-Shibir has difficulty to realize the mistake and move on. Instead, they are engaged in a struggle to prove that they were right then. I know that – most Jamatis did not commit heinous crimes during the liberation war; only a handful of them did. There is no denying about it. Even if we assume that Pakistani Army committed all the killings, for the sake of argument, yet the fact is – Pakistani soldiers could not have committed such atrocities without collaboration of some local people. Pakistani Army needed to enlist, identify, and apprehend the targeted individuals; somebody had to help them prepare the list of the victims, identify, and capture them. Such active collaborators are not too many. That's different from supporting Pakistan during the liberation war. I know many of those, so called, Razakars in my locality; they have perfectly rehabilitated themselves in the society. Those who still deny all war-crimes, and support accused criminals, are leading the country into the brink of a civil-war.

দুর্ভাগ্য আমার, প্রিয় দেশের অর্ধ-গোলার্ধ দূরে থেকে আমি এই অমর মহাকাব্যের সাথী হতে পারলাম না। ব্লগার এবং ফেসবুক এক্টিভিস্টদের প্রণোদনায় কাদের মোল্লা সহ সব রাজাকারের ফাঁসির দাবীতে যে স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত জনতার ঢল নামলো শাহবাগে, আর তারপর তা ক্রমশ: এখন ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে সিলেট, চট্টগ্রাম সহ সাড়া দেশে তা এক কথায় অকল্পনীয়, অভূতপূর্ব। এই দৃশ্য আমরা এতদিন কেবল মিশর কিংবা তিউনেশিয়ার বেলাতেই দেখতাম, আজ অবাক পৃথিবী তাকিয়ে দেখল এই বিক্ষুব্ধ বাংলাকে।
আমি সশরীরে না থাকতে পারি, আমার হৃদয় পড়ে রয়েছে আপনাদের সাথে।
আপনারা থাকুন, আন্দোলনকে এগিয়ে নিন। মুক্তমনা সদস্যেদের অনেকেই শাহবাগে অবস্থান করছেন। কাদের মোল্লার রায় পুনর্বিবেচনা এবং ফাঁসির আদেশ না আসা পর্যন্ত তাদের অনেকেই শাহবাগে অবস্থান করেবেন বলে জানিয়েছেন। ইতিহাসের সাক্ষী হতে আপনিও চলে আসুন। এখন আর ঘরে বসে থাকার সময় নয়। প্রিয়, ফুল খেলবার সময় নয় অদ্য।
রাজধানীর শাহবাগে আগামীকাল শুক্রবার বেলা তিনটার দিকে শুরু হবে ছাত্র-যুব মহাসমাবেশ। মহাসমাবেশের মঞ্চে ব্লগার ও ফেসবুক অ্যাক্টিভিস্ট নেটওয়ার্ক, সংস্কৃতিকর্মী ও যুব সংগঠনের নেতারাই কেবল বক্তব্য রাখবেন। কোনো রাজনৈতিক নেতা বক্তব্য দিতে পারবেন না। রাজনৈতিক দল বা অঙ্গসংগঠনকে কোনো ব্যানার নিয়ে না আসার জন্যও অনুরোধ জানানো হয়েছে। এই মহাসমাবেশে সব স্কুল, কলেজ ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীকে যোগ দেওয়ার আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন আয়োজকেরা।
