I would not underestimate US state department. It knows these animals to its core and would not hesitate to send a strong message when it finds enough is enough. Bangladeshi Jamatis should not expect any support from the state department considering US about turns in the 90's. The worst thing that Jamatis can create in BD is to have an African Mali like situation. That will get the West and neighbors involved in our civil war like in 1971. Nobody can afford another Pakistan in between India and Burma. Would Jamat and BNP push that suicidal ultimate button? I highly doubt.

It is amazing how this party and its criminal members were welcomed back to Bangladesh and given status to carry on their political agenda! The founder of Jamaat, Moududi, was tried in a terrorism case and was indicted and sentenced to death in Pakistan in 1956.
Yet despite its solid trail of terrorism, Jamaat has been self-advertizing itself as a 'moderate Islamic Party' to the State Dept. in the U. S. A. and got full support from the American Embassy just when it was on the verge of losing its registration by the Election Commission in 2008. [Barrister Abdur Razzak negotiated the deal with the U.S. Embassy, and EC was pressured to grant Jamaat the registration].

This opens a new door to success for the resistance activities for the entire opposition movement.
Fall of current brutal, barbaric and fascist BAL regime appears to be very imminent.
This fascist BAL government is already dysfunctional and lost control over a large part of civil administration including that of police department.
In last few weeks, despite the fact that police forces in some specific upazila, thanas and Dhaka city were seen to be acting in a very brutal and savage manner responding to the call for shoot at sight by the fascist BAL regime, yet police forces in a vast majority of other thanas and upazilas were seen to be very inactive and showing blind eyes to the protesting crowd ignoring such call for bloodshed by the regime. We also cane to know that at some places police forces secretly communicated to the protesting crowd - "please conduct your protest activities in those specific areas, and we are roaming around in these area where you do not need to come."
