Today I was reading an article about anniversary of shameful Ramu incident. While our government did a praiseworthy job of restoring as much as possible and improve where it could. Some over excited idiots put two pictures of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and our honorable PM Sheikh Hasina INSIDE the temple. The article (In Prothom Alo) says, as per custom of the Buddhists there should be no picture or statue of anyone but Buddha inside the temple. But they are afraid to ask local administration to remove these two picture.
I am sure our honorable PM does not know about these idiots and how they are damaging image of BAL among it's potential voters. Our government rightfully deserve credit for taking steps to repair damages but it has been seen over excited blind supports often do BNPs work for them around every election.
We live side by side with Hindus, Buddhists and Christians. It is important we have some BASIC ideas of these religions and customs. We speak loudly about harmony and secularism. Some little steps can go a long way in re-building trust among all Bengalis.
This is my wish for the first anniversary of Ramu incident.

BNP has been following Pakistani India-phobia propaganda as political strategy,which worked very well for them. I do not think adopting Islamic ideology as its political strategy will be any good for BNP;it will loose its own identity, and become just another Islamic political party.
