In terms of prosperity Bengalis are not yet even remotely comparable with prosperous nations. We can still make a long list of "good things" about ourselves. Our leaders taught us how to dream good dreams. They always rallied behind them to materialize those dreams. There have been successes but of short duration. Pretty soon we have seen stagnancy or backward movement. Opportunist leaders have always failed us.

Our people, culture and enormous ability to take "Shit" from people and still make it one of the happiest place in earth (Based on a current survey). Despite so much obstacles, we are still making progress (Both socially and economically).
(Just so we do not start another debate) I am aware of many "Not so great" things in us as well. It is true for every societies in the world.

We got our Independence trough a bloody struggle where three million people were killed and after surrender of occupied Pakistani forces, there should not been any anti liberation forces in sovereign Bangladesh since than ! But unfortunately after the sad demise of Bangabandhu in 1975 , with the blessings of Zia , the Anti-Liberation forces have raised their heads again from hibernation and have been trying since than to turn our beloved Country into Pakistan again ! It's a great shame to us ! Only Pro-liberation forces should live in Bangladesh , there should not be any place of Anti liberation forces here .
Therefore , to keep our "HARD EARNED" Independence intact , Pro-Liberation forces need to be united and vote for "BOAT", the symbol of Sovereignty , in the next general election.
