What is all these hullabaloo and controversy about the 1st Head of State of Bangladesh? Do we have nothing better to do? Is Bangladesh becoming a State of monkeys? What a pity.

All these talks of laws and courts actually bother me. The country really needs honest, educated (read "rational", as opposed to "degree-holder") and responsible intelligentsia and leadership. That is the only way to make hateful, crazy, and clownish people worthless in the political sphere of the country. The fact that people like Khaleda and her son have a lot of popularity in Bangladesh is not their fault, it is the fault of the nation as a whole, and of the intelligentsia in particular.
As we had a bit of discussion in this forum recently, "a country gets the leaders it deserves."
