The ancient monotheism was created by men on the Sun god concept. With the appearance of Sun, all the luminaries of night vanished. So, Sun conceived by the morning star Adity(Mother Mary in Christian parlance) was God and stars borne by the evening star Dity(Mary Magdalene) were the demons. All religions are geocentric. In the post Galilean Universe, centre has fallen off, but religions and other primitive concepts live on mostly in the uncultured mind of the third and impoverished world.

People always start from the premises that God or Allah does exist and then the onus falls on somebody who does not believe in that assertion to prove that God does not exist. Is it not a perverse logic? The onus must be on that person or persons who claim, in the first place, that God exists to prove that he is telling the truth. In response to this demand, what does that person do to prove his assertion? He comes back again with a convoluted logic. He claims that if God does not exist, who gives rain on earth, who created man, who created earth etc?To get these things, there is no need for any being to exist - natural or artificial - and these things evolve by themselves and science can prove that. So the logic of the creationist that God exists is false and hence God does not exist.- Anis Rahman

প্রমাণ করতে পারেন, ঈশ্বর নেই? এই প্রশ্নের উত্তরে প্রবীর ঘোষ ভাঁড়ের মত জোড়া পায়ে তিনবার লাফিয়ে তিন ইঞ্চি লম্বা হবার গল্প ফেঁদে, প্রশ্নের উত্তর না দিয়ে উল্টো একটি প্রশ্ন ছুঁড়ে অত্যন্ত চালাকীর সাথে এড়িয়ে গেছেন। প্রশ্নটি হল- "আপনি প্রমাণ করতে পারবেন- আমি মাঝে-মধ্যে তিন লাফে তিন ইঞ্চি লম্বা হই না?" এই প্রশ্নটি ছুঁড়ে এটাই প্রমাণ করেছেন যে, "তার মাঝে-মধ্যে তিন লাফে তিন ইঞ্চি লম্বা হওয়াটা যেমন উদ্ভট, অসম্ভব ঠিক তেমনিভাবে 'প্রমাণ করতে পারেন, ঈশ্বর নেই? এই দাবিটাও উদ্ভট ও অসম্ভব।"
তিনি জোড়া পায়ে তিনবার লাফিয়ে এটাই প্রমাণ করলেন যে, দাবীটা যার মূলতঃ তাকেই সেই দাবীর পক্ষে তার যথার্থতা প্রমাণ করতে হয়। আমি তার এই কথার সাথে একমত বটে।
'স্রষ্টা আছেন' এই কথাটি দ্বারা আমরা কখনো দাবী করার অর্থে বুঝাই না, আমরা যা বুঝাই তা মূলতঃ পানির তৃষ্ণা, ভয় পাওয়া, বিপরীত লিঙ্গের প্রতি আকর্ষণ, খাদ্যগ্রহণ ও আঘাত করলে ব্যাথা অনুভূত হওয়া যেমন স্বভাবজাত, ঠিক তেমনিভাবে স্রষ্টার ব্যাপারটিও স্বভাবজাত। পানি পান করা, যৌনতা, খাদ্যগ্রহণ, আঘাত লাগলে ব্যাথ্যা অনুভূত হওয়া ইত্যাদি আসলে এগুলো দাবী করার বিষয় নয়। কারণ এগুলো জন্মগত/সৃষ্টিগতভাবেই আমাদের মাঝে বিদ্যমান, ঠিক তেমনিভাবে স্রষ্টাও। আসলে 'স্রষ্টা আছেন' এই দাবী আমরা কখনই করিনি বরং আমরা সৃস্টিগত/জন্মগতভাবেই তাঁকে ধারণ করে আছি। প্রশ্ন করতে পারেন কিভাবে?
(১) মানুষ একটি দূর্বল প্রাণী তাই কোন না কোন অবলম্বন ধরে টিকে থাকাটা মানুষের স্বভাব।
(২) মানুষ তার চেয়ে বড়, শক্তিশালী কোন কিছুকে বুঝতে পারলে তার দিকে ঝুঁকে পড়া বা তার প্রতি আগ্রহী হওয়া, শ্রদ্ধা-সম্মান বা আনুগত্য করার স্বভাব বিদ্যমান।
(৩) ঐ শক্তিশালী স্বত্ত্বার কাছে কোন কিছু চাইলে তিনি যখন সেটা দেন।
