Dear All
For long many months or years, lies from high levels have become
part of political pattern in Bangladesh. They tell lies to serve their
sectarian small interests, but fragile political platform suffers from
confusion & complicacies. Countrymen are the most hard hit. As
they get frustrated on political system and the statecraft. They
become disinterested in defending democracy or less interested to
protest against misrule or mismanagement in the state. Their spirit
for the state as such go down stream and self-interest become bright
and beautiful. It is clear that current BAL Govt is deliberately driving
the country on that direction in several sectors. Lies are part of it.
Today's small feature is from Dr Mohd Nurul Amin, who is little
known but wrote wonderful one on lies in statecraft. Thanks.

সম্প্রতি প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা অত্যন্ত তীব্র ভাষায় বিরোধী দল বিশেষ করে বিএনপি ও
জামায়াতের কঠোর সমালোচনা করতে শুরু করেছেন। তার এই সমালোচনা দেশের রাজনৈতিক
অঙ্গনকে উত্তপ্ত করে তুলছে। তার সমালোচনার মূল সুর দুটি ; একটি হচ্ছে বেগম জিয়া
স্বাধীনতা বিরোধী ও যুদ্ধাপরাধী জামায়াত নেতাদের মন্ত্রী বানিয়ে তাদের গাড়িতে জাতীয় পতাকা
উড়ানোর সুযোগ করে দিয়ে রাষ্ট্রদ্রোহিতামূলক অপরাধ করেছেন। দ্বিতীয় অভিযোগটি হচ্ছে
বিএনপি-জামায়াত জোট সরকারের আমলে বাংলাদেশ চার চারবার দুর্নীতিতে বিশ্ব চ্যাম্পিয়ন
হয়েছে। প্রধানমন্ত্রীর দুটি অভিযোগই ব্যাপক বিশ্লেষণের দাবি রাখে। . . . .
