আমার বান্ধবী সুজানের সঙ্গে
আমার প্রায়ই দেখা হয় – রাস্তায়,
পার্কে, দোকানে, বাচ্চাদের
স্কুলে। সব সময়ই সে বেশ
হাসিখুশি ও উৎফুল্ল থাকে।
একদিন তাকে তার বাড়ির সামনে
দেখলাম – বাচ্চাদেরকে স্কুলে
যাবার জন্য বিদায় জানাচ্ছে।
স্কুল নিয়ে যাচ্ছে তার বর নিক।
যথারীতি সুজানের মুখে ছিল
অমলিন হাসি। আমাকে হাসিমুখে
সুপ্রভাত জানালো, কুশল-বিনিময়
হলো ওর সঙ্গে [...]
