Thank you for the correction (Prodhan). Our children at school do "Political Goondabaji" while at home they do "Social and Financial Goondabaji -- Extortion and Women Harassment". Under such vicious environment, what kind of citizens and leaders are we developing? BNP and AL are equally at fault for creating such a despicable situation. But under the current political climate, Awami League is lesser of the "Two Evils" because of Khaleda's lack of political maturity and short sightedness. Politics is War. When a tried tactics is not working (Blockade, Hartal etc.), you must change your strategy. But BNP seems bent on a suicidal course with no light at the end of the tunnel. Ultimately, whoever is right (less wrong) will prevail. Time will Tell.

I am against the power of
President to forgive any convicted murderer. Such power has
to be withdrawn for the greater interest of peace in
society.
Most importantly Islam does not permit ant killer to be
pardoned by any Head of State , if we support that, than Our
Iman( faith)becomes weak.
from time to times this power was abused for political
reason by our Presidents.Dozens of killers were pardoned by
swami President Zillur Rahman.
Yes Prodhan was forgiven by the than President for
political reason but he never joined Chatro Dol or a part of
ChatroDol. He created JAGPA(Jatiyodabadi Gonttrantic
Party)
He wasn't the founder of Chatrodol. Chatrodol was
created by Ziaur Rahman to confront unruly Chatro League .
Even notorious Chatro Shomaj was created by Dictator HoMo
Ershad. Political leaders creates student front for their
own interest.

This only validates how insane and immoral our
leaders are. But don't forget -- Zia released a
convicted murderer (Prodhan) to set up Chatra Dal and
brought all War Criminals and Rajakars to set up BNP despite
he being a Freedom Fighter and his wife under Pak Army
detention for 9 months! Treachery and immorality is
simply a part of Bangladeshi way of life.
