Another bit of very good news. According to World Bank and IMF, Bangladesh's economy has moved up 14 places in global ranking in just two years. We are now the world's 44th largest economy in absolute value, but the 33rd on a Purchasing Power Parity basis. Very few countries have been able to make such a leap in so short a time.
This has only been possible because of the hard work of our Awami League Government. We have taken the country forward rapidly and will continue to do so.

আরও একটি ভালো সংবাদ। বিশ্বব্যাংক এবং আইএমএফ এর তথ্যমতে, বিশ্বের অর্থনৈতিক সমীক্ষায় মাত্র দুই বছরে ১৪ ধাপ এগিয়েছে বাংলাদেশ। পরম মানের দিক থেকে আমরা এখন বিশ্বের ৪৪তম বৃহৎ অর্থনৈতিক শক্তি, কিন্তু সমতা ভিত্তিতে ক্রয় ক্ষমতার বিচারে সে অবস্থান ৩৩তম। এত অল্প সময়ে খুব কম দেশই এই অগ্রগতি করতে পেরেছে।
এই অর্জন সম্ভব হয়েছে কেবল আমাদের আওয়ামী লীগ সরকারের নিষ্ঠা আর কঠোর পরিশ্রমের ফলে। আমরা দ্রুততার সাথেই দেশকে সামনের দিকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাচ্ছি এবং যেতে থাকবো।
