Many such political views emerged in sixties and seventies in our region including India. They were all leftist political parties which included Naxalites. Their target was the state of India, the root cause of all subjugation and exploitation. They used to engage in interesting discourses such as 'Was India itself a colonial power?' They used to fight over tactics and strategies and also used to kill each other. During 1971 liberation struggle some groups, I have heard, fought simultaneously against Indian army plus our own freedom fighters and Pakistani occupation army. After independence one party was determined to free 'East Pakistan' from Indian grip. They retained their party name E. P. C. P for many years after independence. Among their allies were ML, JI, etc.

We are addicted to anger and hate. There is a difference between being assertive and being aggressive. Compromising with give and take is not prostration. Win-win outcomes are those in which neither party gets everything they are looking for, but both get something that they can live with. But judging from the politics in Bangladesh each party wants all or nothing - this is reflected in our domestic policy and in our foreign policy. If we want to become a middle income country by 2021 we won't achieve it by promoting religious hatred and starting a war with India or anyone else.
