[mukto-mona] Re: We must talk about hurting 'religious sentiments'

Many thanks for the good article by Dr. Rahman shaheb. Sorry, I am always late to read any recent article. Finally, I got to peruse this article on the issue of "We must talk about hurting 'religious sentiments,". I do agree with the author. Unfortunately, the most cruel truth about Islam is: the most intolerant religion on earth is of course----Islam. Historically, Islam survived for 1400 years only by terror, bullying, and well-versed Taqqiya--the Islamic deception to hide the truth about Islam by some silent intolerant Islamic intellectuals (Islamic pundits). Actually, we all must talk widely and vigorously truth about Islam which can be substantiated by the Islamic books and islamic history. We should never say or claim anything which can never be substantiated from the Islamic books (Koran and hadiths) and early history of Islam. We all should talk about Islamic terrorists/ISIS/Boko-Haram etc, as to, what making them so dangerous for our modern civilization. Truth is: if we all (millions of Muslims) start talking about Islam, I think those few hard-core jihadist killers would not dare to kill by the secret methods of assassination techniques. Because they can not kill millions of critics so easily. Therefore, we must keep talking vigorously about the so called delicate "Religious sentiments" in order to give Islamic fanatics to develop enough immunity to the logical critiquing of Islam which has proven as the most intolerant religion so far. Thanks again for the article.

Here is a subject we do not discuss. We do not want to discuss it because it is considered delicate. Perhaps also because it is hard to define. But we can hardly afford not to discuss it. Here are some thoughts on the subject in an article in The Daily Observer. Please click on the link below. I tried to publish the original Bengali version of the article but found no takers. Too delicate for them.
