The problem still remains. Listen to this confused Apollo astronaut. He did not know whether he passed through Van Allen belt or not? There will be always a minimum an hour and half to pass this belt. Only Apollo with astronauts could do it so far and come back? Give me a break. This is an amazing story that they did not receive any radiation even they crossed the belt two times?
Did Apollo mission conduct any test probe to pass through this layer with living animals? No! That is not how a scientist conduct experiments. On Sun, Mar 13, 2016 at 11:11 PM, Khoniker Othithee <khoniker.othithee@yahoo.com> wrote:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_Allen_radiation_beltThe Van Hallen Belts is like ear lobes of theEarth. There is possible path to avoid the belts by looping north south. Also the strength of the belt is not not uniform and if the satellite travel for few hours through that, it may be possible to sheild human from X-ray radiation for all practice purposes. The video raising X radiation, is probably exaggerating the of radiation level by several thousand times. The flights from Norway and Greenland most likely routinely fly through the belt, these are my opinion drawn from checking the map of those belts.

I have been looking at this lunar landing from many different angles. There are too many discrepancies. The Van Hallen magnetic radiation belt around the earth itself could have easily cooked these astronauts alive. That is a huge problem. Living materials would become french fries when they pass through this dangerous belt. The return from the moon is troubling too when lunar probe carrying two astronauts would be uniting with the orbiting return ship. Please check further with the lunar landing details. I am truly troubled with the available explanations.

I think a group of so called myth buster arranged a fake landing and claiming it as the original; there big market this kind of entertainment.
NASA probably so many similar questions, now it is irrelevant topics for them to deny or confirm. In early 70ties it was a big sport in Mid East to prove the land was hoax.
