Most Muslims justify the existence of ISIS movement as a protest against the injustice done to them by the West, as this speaker is doing. If that's the reason, why ISIS is fighting mainly with Syrian and Iraqi forces, and not Western forces. Doesn't such optic invalidate the argument of protest against Western injustices?
However, to non-Muslim folks, the picture is clear - it's an age-old sectarian battle resurfaced in the Middle-East, once again, and the argument for the Western injustice is just a decoy.
