You are right, most of these mullahs, we hear about in this forum, are ignorant know-nothing Islamic scholars. When they need to make decisions, they go to Quran, and derive information from a verse, without understanding the proper context of those verses. Naturally, they often arrive at the wrong conclusion.

For example, the word "Kafir" has been interpreted as "non-believer." Now, the question comes up - non-believer of what? Is it non-believer of Allah or Prophet? Each one will refer to different groups.To understand the real meaning of the word Kafir, one needs to know the context in which this word was used. 

I am not an expert, but, I know, there were people, who were rejecting Prophet, and they were fighting against him. So, it may be that - he referred them  as "Kafir," just like US soldiers refer enemies as "ISIS' or "Taliban" or something else. In that case, "kafir" may simply refer to a group of enemy, and does not have anything to do with believing in Allah or God or any other super being. Most people, in the world, tend to believe in the existence of some sort of super being; only difference is - they refer to that entity with different terms.

In the sermon of last haj, prophet highlighted what is the most important and minimum for muslim., that is equality and treating all human beings with fairness and kindness. Not trearting woman as sexaul objects. Afront to these preachings omar at one point kept over three hundreeds cocubine for himselseves and his leutinents. In short, he was also pimping for his soldiers.

Prophet also made a promise of leaving a simple and easy to follow dictations for muslims to follow. Today the dications are recorded in Quran, have contradctions. Those contradictions were added by the people of Omar. Morons will rather the accept contradictions ad from Almighty and prophet, rather than blame Omar for complicating it with contradictons. Even. though prophet never highlighted jihad in spedch on his last haj. Today jihad is the most talked and anlyzed topics for sunni and shia, as if it is their religion

Muslims are in dire predicament because they follow anthi thesis of what prophet highlighted on his last haj. The leader of todays Islam feels without blood letting like kafir practices, there no real Islam.
