[ALOCHONA] Who will compensate the affected????

why not let the first hand convicteds be responsible and compensate? then let them find whom to charge for inspiring them to initiate the chaos. accusing 'all in the chain' will result in a 'never ending story'

I have been enjoying this thread a lot. Thanks to Mr Ayubi, Mr Alamgir, Mr Islam and MR Iqbal. Unfortunately if I have missed Ms Dina Khans writeup, then my sincere appolgies.

Well, I have an idea regarding this question. Let us take the example of the anarchy and destruction commited in Aug 21, 2007 in the DU area. We know who are the convicted criminals. So things would be very easy. The convicted teachers and all the students/ students allies would be primarily responsible to bear all the expenses to cover the reconstruction of the damaged property(whether private or public),  loss of wages and emotional break down of many individuals.

The list doesnot end there. Also should be responsible to bear such expenditure are, the all the members Teachers Association / Student Union, all the journalists and editors and owners of newspapers, who have soliciated on behalf of these criminal arsonists.

Well, also the political leaders / activists , who condoned such act of violence and destruction should also be responsible to share the penalty.

Now many eye brows would be raised because of enormous amount of people under penalty. Well, the destrcution is enormous too as well, and all above mentioned should take equal responsibility for it.

If such thing happens, we would see miracle in our political culture. And general public would be relieved from paying from their own pocket to established other guys political ambition/ideology.

I am 100% with you Mr. Iqbal. Case should have been
filed for payment of compensation by the perpetrators
of the crime. I guess case can still be filed against
them. People of the country can no longer remain
hostage to hooligans. This has to be sorted out if we
have to call ourselves civilised.
