My heartiest thanks to Nondini Hussain for her recent article "
Purush rochito dhorme bikolango nari". She has expressed just what
was also in my mind. For mainy years, we have been hearing that islam
is the greatest conserver of women's liberation and rights. But
people dont want to understand that it is extremly wrong in spite of
getting buring proves. Rather they always praise islam. This
hypocratic process is still going on in the whole world that islam
has given equal rights(!)
Nondini Hussain has clearly exposed that women have actually. no
equal rights ( but a very limited rights) and liberation in islam by
showing the discriminatory verses of quran & hadis. It is also
understood if we give our views on muslim world specialy in middle
east or the islamic minded families in Bangladesh. But after all
these, people dont want to realise that islam is completely anti
women's rights. Actually they realise it in mind but dont realise it
openly since the prestige of islam will be punctured.
Anyhow, we hope women like Nondini Hussain will come forward more to
expose the real picture of islam.
